8 on goal out of 15 shots actually, but still a total bore. Argentina should have won it on a bogus offside call and it would have saved us all from the extra 45 minutes or hour or whatever of viewing. They had a couple other good chances, but that was it really.

I'm glad Germany won. Argentina does have a strong defense, but it plays unattractive anti-soccer, based on defending and slowing down the game. They were lucky to reach the final.

Germany was the best team of the cup, with great technical skills and few weaknesses.

Argentina had plenty of opportunities but just couldn't finish. Squandered their chances or were simply shut down by Germany's defense. Any time Messi got the ball he had 3 guys on him.

Generally another pretty boring game.
