If its really good food poisoning its more of a shotgun spray fart then shitting bricks.

hahaha, it was pretty bad, I almost shit my pants in wellsfargo when I was depositing some checks ...I was about to faint.

You pussies.. Try salmonella poisoning..

Non-stop shitting and puking, sometimes at the same time, for 24 hours. I lost lots of much needed weight that entire night.

But if weight is the issue, nothing beats mono. I had that for NINE WEEKS! All nine weeks I was in bed. I even slept an entire weekend not realizing it, and thinking I had a quick 30 minute nap. I had never felt so weak, and lost so much weight. Lost over 20 lbs of much needed body weight.

hahaha something you dont want, but wish on your enemies. I have never had it but my buddy in high school got it , think he said he had gotten it at a resteraunt by using their silverware. Cant remember but I remember the health dept shut the diner down and he got reimbursed. lmao

I have had food poisoning actually I got it in Ithaca, NY.. was their picking up some stuff to sell on half.com a few years ago, i stopped at some store and bought something to eat and by the time I hit PA on my way back down to NC it hit me hard.

Funny thing is I made myself sicker, because I held my shit in for 11 hours, when I finally got home all doubled over it was coming out of both ends for like 4 days.

Its bad coming out one hole, but when it starts to come out 2 you just want to fucking rollover and Die. Cant stand the puking out the ass and mouth...lmao

what a fukn great topic,, i am laughing my ass of just reading it. Lets move this over to EF.:)

But, of course we would.

Worst (and only serious one...knock on wood) food poisoning I had was in Tunesia.

Everyone kept telling us not to eat in the city, but we did. Great, small native places. Some restaurant look like this in Germany, you would NEVER eat there. We got loads of hot, spicy, tasty, incredible (!) food for less $$ than you'd get a coke in a hotel.

The food poisoning?

Oh, I got that when we ate in the hotel one night because we didn't feel like going out. The probable culprit: Ice cream.

I got fever (well, the shivers, at least), the shits and the pukes all night and the next day. In the evening we went to a bar around the corner to meet with some people we got to know there (natives).

As soon as they gethered the situation, they made me drink a herbal tea as a remedy. Miraculously, it worked wonders. 2 hours later, I was cured of the poisoning, although I still felt a little shaky til the next day.

Keep the diarrhea stories rolling, guys... :banana_sml:

I have never had any serious food poisoning. But I have had a few dozen rounds of chemotherapy over the course of maybe 3 years.

This stuff (read poison) kills every type of fast growing cell in your body. Your immune system is so weak you have to be very freakin careful not to get something rough like influenza, measles, chicken pox, or whatever because you will have more immediate problems then the cancer afflicting you. What's worse is hearing loss. Chemotherapy kills the cells in your ears as well. As a result I lost my ability to hear high pitched noises.

I've had my fair share of more minor side effects as well. Puking every time I smell something strong. Diarrhea with hemmroids ( this shit hurts for real), plus a little blood too. Shingles that itch you into insanity. Mouth sores that make it hurt to eat anything that isn't soup.

Even with all that my doctors have told me numerous times that I have tolerated the chemo better than anyone they had seen.

A "cool" thing to see is your urine that is the same color as Mountain Dew after taking a certain chemo (i forget the name).
