WPReviewEngine is a WordPress plugin designed to make it easy to create powerful review sites quickly. WPReviewEngine allows you to add star ratings, custom fields, a thumbnail image, and an affiliate link URL to your WordPress posts. All aspects of your review site can be controlled from the WordPress administration area, making the plugin extremely easy to use, even for newbies.

Additions in 2.0 include a new auto-embed feature to make WPReviewEngine look great in any theme, integration with Google Maps, an affiliate link cloaking system, as well as numerous minor improvements. I'm teetering on which plugin to buy but dont have time to read all the details. I'd love to see a video walkthrough. I will be looking at it later this week.

How many templates are coming with the plugin?

What about upgrades...are they free? And are you going to be around for a while to support some of WP next upgrades?

Can we buy the single option and upgrade and pay the difference for the multi version if it's good.

The plugin comes with two themes. It will work with ANY WordPress theme using the auto-embed feature.

Upgrades are free. This is a long term project, I intend to support it for at least the next few years.

What we really need is a comparison of V2 of this and V2(beta?) of bbWoolfe!

Still on the sideline the bonuses of the later seem to have transverse!

Also the point about upgrading later and at what cost...answer for that would be sweet.
 
Finally, a review plugin with Maps!

I finally have time to get to testing this bad boy. I REALLY like using custom fields for this stuff, many of my themes are reliant on custom tags and this will help a lot.

Hi HBZ! I saw your review engine and am quite interested in using it for my new review site. Just two questions:

1. can i use the single-site license for multiple subdomains of my main site?
2. if the answer to 1 is yes, then do i have to install this plugin again for each subdomain that i create?

2. If you have a separate WordPress installation on each subdomain, you need to install the plugin for each subdomain you are using. If you are using a single WordPress installation on multiple subdomains, you only need to install the plugin once.
 
Yes, it will.

You'll most likely want to change the color of the star images though. I doubt yellow stars with a white background would look good with that theme.
 
I've posted in all of these threads just because I think the plugin is fucking awesome and I'm using it myself on a PPC review lander that's converting tons for me. The plugin is easy to use and would let you run dozens of these sites quickly.

I recommend the multi site license if that's how he's still running the licensing.
