My handle says it all: I'm a nerd. I'm good with words. I could go on and on about how much you want me (writing your content), but rather than sing my own praises I'll instead offer one free sample to the first person who responds to my post (PM, please). In exchange THAT person can sing my praises via this thread, letting the rest of you know that I'm for real so you can send your orders my way.


Here are my terms:

New content, all topics in the ballpark = .05/word

Editing and improving upon existing = .03/word

All payments collected upfront via PayPal. Bulk rates will be quoted based on the type/scope of project under consideration.

Please note that I'm a ++full-time student. I actually study, in addition to which I have a life and other employment/interests. I'm online often, but don't dick me around re: turnaround time. I need a MINIMUM of 72 hours to complete assignments. Anything you need ASAP (within 36) bills at .075/word, and same day (8-12 hours) bills at .10/word. For rush orders the clock starts from the time I am able to write you back, not when you write me.

Sorry Nico, not only were you the 2nd respondent, you ALSO thread replied rather than PM (I check my email WAY more often than I check threads, consequently threads are a bad way to get my immediate attention).

To the grumbling senior members: more apologies, but the first rule of any kind of self-prostitution is "no freebies." I won't break the rule more than once. If you've got doubts, dispel them by commissioning me for a one-off smaller article or edit job.
 
Copy was all good, obviously a native english speaker - rates are a little high for the cheesy keyword stuffed articles (I'll stick to my industrious Indian's for that ish) but ordered a couple more complex 4-600 word pieces. Will let thread know how those go.
 
Quality doesn't compete/compare itself to Indians, Lowenbrau. But thanks for sending your ACTUAL COPY needs my way, much appreciated.

Review:

Content was absolutely amazing. Practically no errors that I could find and the tone, research and formatting were also all top-notch. Her pricing rates are perfect, I would say, because you're not going to want to use her for the simple, SEO-type work that you can get on the cheap (because then it doesn't matter if it's riddled with errors).

I'd highly recommend her for any sales copy or any other type of work where you A) Want it to make sense and sound great and most importantly B) Don't mind paying more than your average bear because better quality = better conversions. And as we all know, better conversions are what it's all about.

A+'s all around. Fantastic job.
 
Review:

Had a very favorable experience with Nerds4Words. Great turnaround time, the content was well-researched, and the writing is at a much higher sophistication level than you can get with the Indian outsourcers.

This is a real English-as-a-first-language writer with a knack for word choice and flow, and the prices are totally reasonable. A great source for real content that actual users might want to read, instead of just the usual SEO garbage articles that so many of us are filling up the internetz with (me included, lolz).

Will definitely work with again...

But as I've learned in the past month, I'll pass on:

  • blatant pirating of the sites (aka intellectual capital) of others
  • acai-berry-stop-smoking-gum-Nigerian-money-order shenanigans

'cause unlike some of the other folk on this forum, me? I gots dem (karmic) standards. I also happen to know the difference between "are" and "our," "your" and "you're" WITHOUT having to think about it, let alone Google for it.
