Right, so listen up... Whether you like me or still visit here on the reg is literally not something that should hold you back.
I've been working covertly on a large project and I need people whom you would recommend as the better of the trade freelancers. People who deserve to see some work thrown their way.
I literally feel like a manual version of a freelancer website right now. It's fuckin overwhelming and I need to give work to people. There's no cost. Just make sure you do a good job. Every referrer is a professional person/business person. They don't really know anything about this industry. Don't sit there and explain how you charge per word and why and all of that noise. Just give them a quick run down, look at what they need done, get paid, follow through on what you agreed to and hopefully they'll keep using you for that from now until the end of time.
If anyone reading this can recommend someone specifically, because they've used them before and would like to pay it forward, that would be great. Please don't just recommend anyone or some noob cousin of yours that graduated from Full Sail University with a certificate of bullshit in internet marketing.
I'm posting this here because I have no blog and I hate social media. Like, all of it. But that's a rant for another time.
Doesn't have to be US based, but needs to be able to speak English, someone with common sense, someone that isn't a fucking idiot, decent, fair, honest, follows through.
For the following types of freelance work:
COPY WRITER (They keep swearing it's two words not one, so fuck it!) -- Specifically for sales copy, like email pitches and LP product/service work. I'm seeing a lot of requests for sales script writing too? Maybe sub it out to a diff pro?
Web designer -- Someone to make LP's, templates, banners, all of that. If you don't code it up, find someone that does, partner and just include it in the price. Try to keep things moving along smoothly. Logos, biz cards all of that stuff.
Web dev - see above, same shit, I don't care if you say it's not, it is to me. So just suck it up and please, take their money and biz ffs. Mobile sites? Who knows.. lead gen pages?
Freelance SEO - This is a dicey one. Some of you here are fuckin awesome, most are just awesome at talking about it. I'm not going to take sides, just don't rip anyone off.. I swear, if I catch wind that you ripped any of these people off, you're going to kiss your career goodbye. --- But more importantly, provide some type of basic service for them, nothing crazy to start with. I'm telling ya, all of these people are the types of customers you have been waiting to get and they just want to pay you, get the service carried out, and by all means maintenance bill them to hell and back later if that's how you roll (obviously it would be great if you weren't a dick like that, but who am I to judge anymore).
Oh yeah, I need phone sales people for B2B. Like, a lot.. now. If anyone is a sales pro or knows of a crew of them, please let me know asap.

Please please please, keep things super simple, straight forward like "Hi Jon, I do THIS and THIS, my fee range is THIS to THIS, my biz site/contact email is THIS and I prefer customers that aren't Jewish (or whatever you're specific needs that I'm probably going to ignore anyway but am putting it down because I'm a dick like that anyway).
