What the fuck is Obama talking about here

This motherfucker is scary. This is what Hitler fuckin did under the mask of "change and hope"
So he wants to spend what we are allready spending on our millitary, on a civillian "brown shirt" force. Why do we need a civillian force as powerful as the US millitary?????

I never in a million years thought I would see this kind of shit comming from the mouth of a Presidential candidate. As a veteran; I can say that I am fucking ashamed of what this country has degraded too. If I would have known I was figting in a fuckin god forsaken desert for people like this; I would have deserted to Canada.

Popeye said it best ... WTF is obama talking about? I can't make sense of why he would ever state that we need a freestanding domestic military inside our borders as powerful as the US military. Even if taken out of context, it's still ridiculous and way to expensive to even be considered.

I agree popeye I cant believe that people think that this guys "change" is actually going to help them. What obama is going to do is push this country over the cliff into Communism. Unfortunately people dont know what happened during the soviet union. Socialism and communsim dont work, it has never worked and it will never work; this is why the soviet union collapsed.
 
We already have the police, fund them a little better.
I hope in the first 4 years people will see for what he is. This is bull shit.

Pure communism (like unadulterated capitalism) doesn't work, but please show me how socialism isn't working in countries like Norway, which while it may have less billionaires than the US also has a longer life expectancy, higher GDP per capita, higher rate of literacy, much lower crime rates, the list goes on...

Norway is smaller, has virtually no millitary budjet and has an overall different cultural mentallity than the US.

Norway needs no military. They depend upon the EU for protection, we can't.

Norway is the exception rather than the rule for success in a socialistic government. Look at 99% of the rest of the countries that are trying socialism...FAIL.

Firstly, you have to understand the history of America. The election of Barack Obama will in many ways change America forever and alot of people are going through an identity crisis because of this.

As human beings, we have the ability to think up all sorts of reason to convince ourselves of something. For people like the above they've latched on to this concept of socialism or communism probably as a subconscious replacement for someone else.
Trying to convince them that Obama is not a socialist/communist would be like trying to convince someone from the Black Forest region circa 1939 that jews aren't all evil money grubbing backstabbers and it wasn't the Jews that caused the great "Fatherland" to lose the first world war.

Try to engage is fun loving political discourse with Americans who at least have experienced something outside of America, aren't so emotionally attached, and don't have their very identities tied up with the outcome of this election.

There no such thing as an anti-Christ and it certainly isn't Barack Obama....

This has nothing to do with what Obama was speaking about in his speech. Sure creating an organization to help old people cross is road is fine but Obama is stating that this organization will be as powerful, as strong and as funded as well as the US military.

I will guarantee that McCain nor any other Republican will go for something like that. It's funny that Obamabots can not even question Obama's policys. They defend EVERYTHING he says like it came from the mouth of god. I am voting for McCain and I question his old ass policies everday.

Thats the most alarming thing about Obama. His supporters follow him like he is a god and question NOTHING and believe EVERYTHING that comes out of his mouth.
