I don't see what the big problem is, a non-profit asking for donations.. what's new?
 
If you consider some of the subscription packages floating around teh net then I'm sure a few spare dollars or whatever you fucks spend to help run a place like wiki isn't gonna grind is it?

I've used wiki thousands of times and sure many on WF have done the same, whats a donation when they give so much back. I don't donate and never will but some of rich people need too. Karma etc!
 
Wikipedia could put an ad in the header of their website for 24 hours and make 6-7 figures if they wanted. but they dont.

Wikipedia helps millions of people in developing countries learn shit.

wikipedia is the shit. I must say they manage spam very well inspite of thousands of marketers looking to exploit the link juice. Talk about respect

Lol at all the butthurt people because the largest free knowledge database on earth is asking for a donation once per year. Get some perspective brohams. This shit doesn't suit you'all.
