Ok i've been tryin to upload prosper202 to my server for 4 FUCKING DAYS!!!!!!!!!


I have campaigns ready but I am losing money and time because of this shit.

Ok I have uploaded everything to my host and whenever I got to my site i get this error.

Changing the 202-config file doesn't do shit.

I uploaded this bullshit prosper202 file around 19 times, posted at prosper forums 2 days ago. No one has even responded. So much for the 5 min install.

I have uploaded files as binary AND ASCII and nothing is working same shit.


Does anyone know what the fuck is wrong or what im doing wrong in the upload? Im using cuteftp pro trial btw

Are you sure your prosper config file is named correctly and in the correct place? It really is easy to set up, it's basically the same setup as an old wordpress install.
 
if you go to my site and click the add file button there is even more errors.

Im sure it's named correctly not sure if it's in the right place. I went into the file manager at my host opened 202-config-sample.php and saved as 202-config.php after putting in my db info. I haven't changed the config file yet on the current upload because it doesn't do shit. My site displays the same with or without it.

I saved it right in my public_html where all the other files and folders I uploaded are.


also simple php redirect DO NOT WORK when I upload them. It just displays a blank page. the code is correct though.


Im so fucking frustrated with this. I've installed prosper202 before on bluehost back when I used them. This shit is REALLY PISSING ME OFF.
 
Haha its not just prosper that is fucking up it's like everything that I am trying to do today.

I had big plans and a huge schedule and i haven't accomplished SHIT TODAY!

My internet went out this moring around 8:30 this morning which really fucked up my routine.

I can't even call my cable provider because the phone line is busy. (I called seriously 30 times) anyway Im at a panera bread on my laptop tryin to figure this out and it is so frustrating.

if a simple php redirect doesnt work, then somethnig can be fucked with your php, did you even ask your host? usually if you tell them what your trying to do they can help you out
 
Yea I did they said that there might be a parsing error in my files and to re-download prosper202 and reupload in ASCII I did this and then tried Binary STILL not fucking workin.


I actually use zensiz and paid like $30 a year for my hosting they told me it works, but I didn't want to bother them with this shit. Im sure they have "real" customers and I wanted to figure this out so I know for future referenc. But if all else fails I will contact them again.
 
And I just clicked my link and it works on my end.


That was my point in posting the url. There is a bunch of php code all over the place

getmystats.info I also haven't gone live with the campaigns yet. I really don't want to go with tracking202 but I might just have too.
 
You get what you pay for on your hosting. That is why I LOL at people that buy cheap-ass hosting.

prosper202 was seriously easy to install. I'd look at a different hosting company long term. I hope you figure out these issues today man. Sorry to hear you are having them.
 
it should work with "cheap" hosting. zensix is a pretty good quality given the price. i have prosper hosted on zensix for one campaign im running. good luck with your problem!
 
Yea I am sure that zensix isn't the problem at all. I wouldn't call zensix "cheap" but I would say they are inexpensive.

Honestly it is probably me being a retard.

Anyway the support at zensix is great! I don't know why I didn't ask them for help before.

Oh well lesson learned.

Guess what? Barman was right! I am a fucking retard. I didn't check the "enable php" box for my domain. lol

Anyway a big shout out to zensix for their customer support.

Its not I got it running... If you would have read the thread you would know that php wasn't activated on my domains because I didn't click the "allow" "php" checkbox....

Now it works fine.

Can some mod clean it out of this thread?

Trigger PM some mod and ask nice. Tell them the time of the post or something.

That system got hacked about a year ago. It's more secure now, but you never know. Not that I would steal your campaigns, but maybe later when you're ballin.
