I've eaten horse meat, it was pretty good. The cool thing is it was RAW horse meat. Just raw horse meat with an egg cracked over it. Fairly common here (a raw beef version is more common though).

Dude, meat is meat, regardless of how much you like the breed. Get the fuck over it.

I love my dog and my cat, and I like most of the horses I've ridden... but I've eaten all 3 animals too... and whales and snails, snakes, bees, crickets, spiders, etc... If it was legal, I'd probably give human flesh a go.
It's all just meat. Some of it's so so (horse), some of it's terrible (cat). Occasionally something is fantastic (butter fried tarantula).

It's normally eaten as tataki but I ate horse yuke. In the photo it's the beef version but it looks the same except the horse is maybe brighter red.
