XBOX 360 vs PS3??

Pretty simple questions, which one do you prefer and why? I'm grabbing one of them, right now I'm leaning more towards XBOX 360, since the games are better, and I've actually read that contrary to popular belief the video card/graphics are better than PS3's.

For those that have, or are experience with, both, which one do you prefer and/or suggest buying?
 


Xbox 360 - Cheaper, better games
Playstation 3 - More expensive, blu ray, better quality, better system

I would honestly go for the more expensive, yet better option in the Playstation 3. I have heard a lot of horror stories about the 360 and personally, I wouldn't want to face any. In the end though, it is of course up to you ;)
 
I've got a 360 and love it... I just signed up for LIVE a few weeks ago for the sole purpose of playing Madden 09, but so far it sucks. Everyone I play quits as soon as they start to get beat... Other than the shitty LIVE experience, the 360 is great.
 
Man I feel like I'm the only one in this world who still plays games on a PC and I crappy PC too.
 
Xbox 360 has a lot more exclusive games so it depends on your game taste. Playstation games have sucked up until now, where they're getting good shit like Killzone and God of War.

As for PC gaming I built up this monster rig with a $600 video card about 1 year ago and sicne then there has been shit for games coming out. Crisis was pretty much it. Waiting on Battlefield 1943.
 
Just get both. 360 won't have problems unless you get an old used one. Some games run better if you copy them to the hard drive though so just do that if you have problems.
 
I'm an old school japanese games junkie (metal gear, final fantasy, castlevanias, anything by capcom, konami, square-enix, etc).. so my vote goes to PS3 .. but it's sad to see they don't have that many exclusive games anymore...
 
I too have pretty much stopped playing video games. Though I do enjoy beer and gaming on the weekends. I have both a PS3 and an Xbox 360 and my PS3 gets a lot more use then the Xbox. It looks better, it has great games and I enjoy playing it more.

I've taken that drive for winning at games and have kinda turned it into a drive to win at Affiliate Marketing. I have as much fun now trying to get my site or landing page stats up then I did getting my kill count up. In a weird way, I feel like whatever drove me to want win at video games drives me to want win at Affiliate Marketing.

Heh, I kinda like to think of it like I'm playing an Internet-Mogul Sim.

Depends on your definition of wasting time. If you look at it that way pretty much any recreational activity is wasting time, but if you think having fun is a good use of your time then it's obviously not a waste.

I say Xbox. It's cheaper, has better games and has a far better online experience then playstation does.

With that said, I did buy an xbox around october last year and have only played it 3 times, games just don't really seem to engage me anymore...
 
I'm going to go with the Xbox 360 simply because I own one and play often.

I was thinking about getting a PS3 just for the fact that it has a blue-ray player and metal gear solid, and Grand Turismo.

And for all the people who say it's a waste of time: these systems aren't just for playing video games anymore. My xbox 360 is my entertainment hub.
 
Xbox for sure. Way more games, cheaper, great online.

Blueray isn't that big of a deal. Standalone players are getting cheap and honestly the format is doing pretty shitty. Digital downloads are the way the industry is going. I think Blueray will be the last physical format. Xbox has already gone that way with it's netflix integration.

I don't really play many games on mine but use it primarily as a media center extender and for that purpose it's amazing.
