Xy7, Hydra Networks. Cpa Empire

I signed up for Hydra after meeting them at ASW and it looks like they have good offers. My AM has also been helpful.

The only problem I have with them is they told me that you have to do $15K for 2 consecutive months with them before they'll even consider putting you on a semi-monthly payment schedule (that's not even weekly). The $15/mo is not a problem but they're the only network I've seen that won't pay weekly to big volume affiliates.

Does anyone know Hydra's reasoning for this, and I would think it makes it hard for them to compete for big affiliates when they wait so long to payout high producers?

Post 30 is ok if thats what it takes the pay seems higher then other networks for the same offers.

Yeah shelf payouts are higher but if you go to any other network you use, they'll match or beat Hydra. Just because they list higher doesn't mean you can't get higher elsewhere.

So if other networks match shelf pay does that mean sale shaving?

Not necessarily. All networks want to increase their profit margins as much as possible, so when they list a shelf payout, they list a payout they think they can get away with. If an affiliate can get them decent volume to an offer, the networks know that they will have to raise the payout thus cutting into their own margins.

Hydra just chooses to list their shelf (aka starting) payouts higher than other networks. I actually think that's a very good way to conduct business on their end. Good affiliates know what's a generally accepted payout for an offer and they will always ask for more, so Hydra just starts out at a high level.

Ran a lot of Hydra campaigns and some of them bombed and some of them did exceptionally well. It really all depends. Not really into CPA Empire, low payouts.. blah.

I have had good experiences with Hydra, they are one of my first distribution choices on our exclusives for email. I haven't done too much business with XY7 or Cpa Empire, but the guys at XY7 have always been good about getting me on the list to their parties, which is always a bonus. Overall many of the Networks out there are the same, pitching the most exclusives, highest payouts, flexible payments among many other cliches. When it comes down to it, is that network willing to earn you business and be attentive to your needs? You'll never know unless you check them out.

Cheers,
Todd

The guys over at Motive are top notch for sure....and if you're lucky enough to work with Todd, even better. I've been dealing with him and the crew over there for almost two years. Solid company for sure and I'd suggest that you all try 'em out!
