Yahoo act hacked, 11k in charges

I was about to go to sleep last night, and just wanted to check something in my acct real quick. Then i noticed 11k in charges that i didnt make.
I not that worried, because im sure ill get a a credit.

Anyone else have this happen?
the ads were for ringtones, airplane flight , and pres. drugs going to some ad feed page.

contact yahoo, your credit card company and the police. Probably you can get the charges cleared.
 
That's fuckin crazy dude, but you'll be able to hopefully find the culprit through affiliate links. How long did it take for the culprit to rack up 11K?
 
Darryl McGee did that to my adwords account, charged around 52k they were able to track ips and write most of it off but still left with 12k charge, you should be okay.

They started on friday and i caught it at 1:30 am last night. It was some kind of ad feed. Im not sure through which network.
** just noticed one of them is through 7 search.

Maybe shady can help me track them down and at least get them banned from that network.
I checked whois, but im sure its all fake.

Fuck, yahoo better give me my money back, since its pretty obvious its fraud. It sucks they did it on a weekend , so i have to wait till tomorrow to figure it out

I think i found a bunch of their sites. they're all 7search feeds and prescription drugs. I think they did it out of russia. So not a whole lot i could do to them except get them banned from 7search

I have no idea. Maybe cuz i used a generic password that I've used on some forums.

I changed my whole password scheme now though.

Yahoo was pretty slow with dealing with the whole issue. Took like almost 3 weeks for everything to be normal.
 
Inspect all computers you're using to access your Yahoo account. Probably you have a bot/trojan installed.

As a bot creator in the past I can assure you that it is fully possible to fly under radar of your anti-virus software.
