The Yahoo Answers Scraper takes a search term and a Wordpress category, then generates a Wordpress import file pulled from Yahoo Answers. Questions are turned to posts and answers are turned to comments. This script is perfect for filling your blog with content.

How it works:
  1. Signup for a Yahoo API key and enter it in the script.
  2. Upload the script to your website.
  3. Browse to the script, enter your Search and the Wordpress Category you want to use.
  4. Download the XML file the script generated
  5. Login to Wordpress, click on Manage, then Import, then Wordpress
  6. Choose the XML file you downloaded in step 4.
  7. Done. Your blog is now filled with up to 50 questions and their answers. If comments are enabled on your blog, your visitors can also post answers to your site.

Yahoo Developer Key

I have attached an example backup file generated of 5 posts. Import it into Wordpress to see the output.

Your unique searches and the way you organize things is going to rearrange the content from the way it's listed on Yahoo. The ability for your visitors to comment their own answers will also make your site more unique.
 
can it auto-update from yahoo answers? suppose new answers are made then is it possible to auto-update the blog posts from that?
 
With tweaking, it could be used with Feed Wordpress or WPoMatic to auto update. The issue is that answers wouldn't be posted as Wordpress comments, they would have to be dropped or added into the post.

If anyone is interested in this, I'll make the updates and anyone can get both scripts for the same price.
 
Updates

There is now a new script that works with Feed Wordpress or WPoMatic to automate the process of populating your blog with fresh content. How it works:

1. Browse to the script and enter your search terms and other options, then click Scrape.
2. Copy the URL.. ex: http://yoursite.com/scraper/scraperfeed.php?search=garmin%20gps&Posts=5&AnswersInPosts=1
3. Login to Wordpress and go to the WPoMatic plugin page to create a new campaign with the URL you copied.
3. Done. Your blog will now auto populate new content on schedule.

I will send the WpOMatic plugin so you have everything you need. I will also assist in helping anyone set it up if they have problems.

The price is still $30 for BOTH scripts. If you already purchased the other script, let me know and I'll send you the new one at no charge.
