I'm not too familiar with YSM - I'll be testing a bunch of things, but I thought I'd pose this scenario and get some feedback ... I just started a campaign in YSM. It's modest, about $50/day. Here's the rundown ...
1. 11 ad groups, with one KW each. They're all similar, 3-4 words each. Some get decent volume, others don't.
2. The default bids are $0.50 to $4.00 which is what I went with.
3. About 1/3 of the groups are showing decent impressions. Another 1/3 is showing next to nothing and the last 1/3 is showing 0
4. For the whole campaign, avg CTR is 3% and CPC is $1.66. One group has a 5% CTR and a couple others are around 1%
The CPC has to come down to be profitable for this campaign, and of course raising CTR and impressions is also the name of the game. So what's the best bidding/tuning strategy from here .... ?
