I saw the full programme that this was part of. The whole thing was mindblowing.
 
This has really caught my attention. Now I want to watch the entire program because the entire concept is simply amazing. "What we see overrides what we hear." This is one of those quotes I'll remember from this point forward.
 
Lots of crossover with paradolia and pattern matching. Our senses lie to us all the time, it's why people see ghosts, faces on Mars and hear voices in white noise. Saw the program on TV a few weeks ago, well worth a watch.
 
Faces on Mars aren't our brain deceiving us but it's because our face recognition part of our brain is so active it's always searching for face patterns.

People that had that specific part of brain injured can't recognize faces anymore but can function 100% normally otherwise. It's weird.
 
Uh, I heard "Vah" as well as "Bah," not just "Bah." Anyone else? Or did I completely missed what she was saying?

Pretty sure you missed it. What was crazy is before I even knew the trick they were doing, i looked away from the computer and heard Bah instead of Fah. It startled me, then she talked about it haha
