More on the list:

1. Daniel Day Lewis is an acting God. No ifs, ands, or buts. Anything he is is always amazing.

2. Gary Oldman is another of my favorites. Ever see Syd & Nancy, when he was younger? Or My Immortal Beloved (playing Beethoven), or as the corrupt Senator in The Contender?

3. Bobby D (Deniro) of course, Taxi Driver, Awakenings, Casino, G2, etc etc. He can also be in some flops...

4. ...as can Pacino (more recent films).. but 70's-80s was the best. Carlito's Way, does anybody NOT like that movie? G1-3, Panic in Needle Park, Scent of a Woman (his only Oscar too I believe, which is deserved, but sad nonetheless)

Too many to really mention. I like Ed Norton a lot, who puts a lot of effort in anything he does....
