YSM: multiple campaign for same keywordss?

If i have multiple campaigns (not ad groups) running on YSM that are different campaigns, with different display and destination URL's, but target some overlapping keywords, will both ads show for the same keyword? or only one at a time?

So, as a random example if i'm selling free vacations with one campaign and free golf clubs with another, and both campaigns have ad groups that target the keyword "free stuff", will both ads show? or will Yahoo only show one at a time b/c they are on the same account?

Are you sure that the guy on the phone knew what he was talking about? I gave this a try after reading this thread last night and the second ad I setup, under the same campaign, diff ad group, dest url and display url isn't getting any impressions.

I dont think Yahoo is this stupid.

i am talking about different campaigns under same account, not ad groups under campaigns...

since your ad groups likely have same display URL it for sure won't work, but even if they are different i doubt it will

Have you tried it yet and seen both ads appearing at the same time? It's possible that the low payed yahoo employee was wrong, it wouldn't be the first time that's for sure...

Yeah I read that. My question remains though, have you seen it working yet? I am wondering if it will really work as they say? I will test it myself but wondering if you already did that and were able to see your double listing?

that sucks. yeah, i wasn't able to see both either...

although i am getting impressions recorded for both, so must be alternating..

that's like the 3rd time i talked to a Yahoo person who gave me BS...

Yeah it rotates and probably (if its smart enough, but its yahoo so who knows...) shows the ad from the campaign with the best CTR
