Are black people that unintelligent to still think that Zimmerman is white?
He's hispanic, yet they want to say he's white so it makes the case worse.

Its a stretch to call it self defense because Zimmerman knowingly put himself in the situation he was in.
The likely scenario was that nobody had to be hurt or killed.
The only facts known are that Zimmerman escalated a non-dangerous situation into a deadly one. IMHO it does take a moron to accomplish that sort of feat.

Patrol your neighborhood if you like, report suspicious behavior, but do not think you're a police officer and confront anyone while you're armed. You do that and you are asking to end up in this very situation.
No. They're not. Most black people that have been paying any attention to this know he's hispanic just like any other race does. There's just the minority group of ignorants within the race just like there is in any other that get the most attention because stupid people tend to be the most vocal.

It's amazing that Zimmerman pulled the trigger, Trayvon must have passed dozens of homes (considering Zimmerman had to drive his truck to follow him).
I guess those people were never aware they too were in a "kill or be killed" situation, if all it takes for such a situation is a kid in a hoodie to walk down your street.
If he were in real danger, if it were obvious that he had to shoot this person or be killed himself, if nothing he would have done that night would have avoided this situation entirely, he would absolutely not be on trial right now.
The only reason a police officer can get away with a similar lapse in judgement is because other police officers and judges, will cover for them. They protect each other.
A heavy handed police officer is just as likely to shoot someone when they don't really need to, as any other person like Zimmerman.
Any one of you geniuses stop to ask why this highly contraversial case is being brought back up into the limelight right now?

Last I checked, confronting someone and beating their ass is a violent crime. Trayvon could have walked way but decided to beat zimmerman's ass instead.
Here in Florida, if you fear for your life you have the right to defend yourself. Whether we like it or not it's the law. This law has only been on the books for a few years. In the past you could only legally shoot someone in your house. Everyone always used to say, "if you kill someone make sure you drag them into your house before the police arrive."
