I was emailed a while back and told the rest of my reports would be delivered yesterday, tuesday 28th. I've not recieved them yet, i'm not bothered, i just hope everything is going smoothly with my order.

I know my HOTH's are being created because i get a pingback on my site everytime a new one goes up, real time reporting or what? :D


EDIT: Ps, i know i havent officially received all of my reports yet, but i CAN say they DO work because my site has moved from the bottom of page 3 for my main keyword to position #5 on the 1st page. All i've done to supplement my HOTHS is i've added some extra drippy blastage to the web 2.0's and the profile links, although i've only done this for my first HOTH... so i doubt that the blasts have made much difference to the ranking changes, it has to be the HOTH that did it.
 
Awesome. Sorry about that, I had a brain fart and didn't send out yesterdays reports. You'll get it very soon, but its nice to know that the results precede the report :D

PM your order number. If you were ordered on the 10th, your delivery date would be ~now.

We are clearing out our backlog and almost done so you should have everything very soon.
 
My order is more or less done, so here are my thoughts on the Hoth:

It works.

However, there are a few things about it that kinda pissed me off along the way.

I got one report a few weeks back and then they decided to change the whole delivery method and it was just "ok, see you in two weeks with all your links." That's cool, whatever, I understand: It's a new service, work the kinks out, just be sure to deliver and get me some results.

And then I got my report a day late. Again, it doesn't really matter because I was expecting it and more concerned with seeing the results than checking a shit ton of links. I did see my SERPs moving in the right direction a few days before I got the finished report, so for all I know the work was done on time. I'm not trying to be a bitch, but when you run a salespage that says " TIME IS MONEY. WE DELIVER ON TIME, EVERY TIME" I expect you to give me a report on time.

What I'm more concerned about -- and actually really pissed about -- is that one of the Top sites was deleted by the time I got to check it. I absolutely cannot believe that this wasn't verified before the report was given to me. Then again, maybe it was and it was just deleted in the ~7 hours between the report getting sent out and my checking it...

At the rate things are going, I'll probably end up waiting another few weeks to get the whole thing finished. What's the deal Alex? Do you bump projects up in priority when they die less than 24hours after you finish working on them? What if it gets deleted again two weeks from now? I don't consider my niche shaddy/spammy, but wordpress didn't like something.

I'm checking through all the bookmarks/2.0s/profiles now to see how many are still up, but based on the numbers they over-delivered on their promises.

Anyway, SERPs have moved in the right direction and will hopefully stay there as the articles come out.

I like the service - the top sites look and read great and I'm getting results - but won't be ordering again until I see some other reviews indicating that Alex and Co. have worked the kinks out their system.

Fair criticism. We bit off more than we could chew the first time around.

To prevent this from ever happening again, when we relaunch we will have guarantied day delivery or your money back.

We have built out an infrastructure to delivery WAY more HOTHs than we were able to at the beginning of the month and we have a much more concrete idea of what our actual capacity is at this point.

I'm not sure if you retracted your accusation in that second sentence or what,
but yes, it was most certainly verified before delivery.
We wouldn't have begun link building to a bunch of missing links.

Seeing as you said it yourself, I hope you are no longer "extremely pissed" about this.

You should get your wordpress replaced in a day or 2, tops.
Right now, we are working as hard as we can to catch up on the IMMENSE backlog of work.

We're almost there.

With that said, when a correction needs to be made, sometimes it needs to be pushed back to the weekend so that everyone else's orders don't get delayed.

With all due respect, the social web DOES consider your niche extremely spammy.

Please take a look at Squidoo's SquiDon't policy and you will see your niche clearly listed there. Wordpress doesn't have as transparent of a moderation policy, but whoever is spamming squidoo is most certainly spamming wordpress.com too.

With that said, we got your squidoo to stick in this highly moderated niche, so a little understanding as we get your wordpress to stick would be greatly appreciated.

Just wanted to post my two cents. greyaisha

I agree with greyaisha that their OP was a little too zealous and misleading. However I also agree that the service has increased SERP rankings. I would also like to compliment their customer service ability, they are constantly online and were more than willing to spend time and talk with me. I think HOTH 2.0 has a lot of potential.
 
Very interested. About how long do you think it will take before you guys start taking orders again?

REVIEW:

Okay - So I have finally got my Hoths delivered. Mind you it took 23 days. Yeah they have been facing shortage of man power.

Rest everything is fine. ALL the Web 2.0 have decent spinned articles linking to my main Wordpress and blogger site.

Profile links were all intacts. And communication was never a problem.

All in all I would order again only if they vow to get this done in a week or so. I can't wait months for these things to deliver. Not me!

Rest assured if you order you will get what they have advertised. Nice link juice and power structure to support your keywords and website.

I hope it does something good to my site.

My Review:

First, I gotta say the way it is advertised is rather missleading. It says what 5 hoths brings, and has a price per hoth, but you don't get to have 1 URL per hoth (if they are different).

So that is my complaint.

Now on to the good side. Everything was delivered as advertised. Overall, $150 very well spent. This is a very good service and I will likely buy again.
