Is This Russian Trying To Fuck Me Over?

P.S. I buyed goods that way and many times. Obviously not from people like OP, you missing business there bro.

To some of the others who are apparently hyperventilating, the question wasn't really is it sketchy as much as it was how much legal trouble could I get into. I don't doubt that there could be some legit remailers in Russia, but it's so dominated by the Mafia that chances are slim. As someone here said, I'd be better off doing something with a Western country.

Which Mafia for first ? Mafia in terms of al Capone was there like more than 10 years ago and later.

Also which remailers in Russia ? Huh ? YOU ARE REMAILER, IN US. You ship to end customer. You are middleman. There are basically lot of services already in market (who will indeed ship to Russia, China and other planet as long as it will make them money) and you will compete with them, some are established for like 10-15 years, say thanks for that small order you get already.

Western Country probably do not need your services cause lot of closed minded people ship there and to US only:)

LOL this is hilarious, I'm retarded if I believe it's legit and I'm retarded if I think it's a scam.

Wickedfire wins again!

maybe you'd make more money if u spent less time jerking off to vin diesel movies, less time trolling the forums and less time reading the CL jobs section and more time actually working

Thanks for that peptalk, baby, I'll let you get back to pwning noobs and counting your millions.

Everyone knows you source your AK-47's FROM Russia.

If the US company will send package to riddick he will get electronics. No doubt. I thought it's end customer want buy it and that big company don't want it so he searching craiglist for some US person to buy it and send it to him for small margin (lower then he pays anyway localy obviously)

If it's some company looking for same better to cut them out (neverminding their location) and just do business to end customers like I described above:)

AK-47 for sure from Russia, it was invented there lol

There is always a good way to find out if something is legit: Think of the time needed to do the job you are offered, calculate what you'd get per hour of work. Labelling requires zero qualification, so compare to other jobs no special skills are needed for. If the payment is 10x what frying burger would make you, you know it must be a scam.

Get real and listen to this guy. Most scams work on the basis of hooking you with a combination of greed and a belief that you can get away with something. If you are a shipping agent for stolen/illegal goods, will saying "oh they sent me an email that said it was all ok and I didn't look in the boxes" make it alright with the feds? No. If it was entirely legitimate would they be offering a private individual $1000 a month rather than using a shipping agency? No. You clearly want this dream of an offer to be real as you keep ignoring all the people who are laughing at you for being a jerk. Wake up and stop being a jerk!

think about it for a second,

a company in russia is going to pay a random in the USA 1000 USD a month to forward packages for them.

Put yourself in their shoes (pretending this is legit)... They would be better off sending someone over to the US and paying them 1000 USD and at least they have some guarantee that their mail will get forwarded. Would YOU pay some random in another country to forward expensive items... ? no.

It's a scam, of course it is lol

Definitely a scam. There's a good chance when you take the bait they will tell you in order to start you are responsible to purchase some materials, or something. I've read about similar employment scams where people hoping for a job end up sending a few thousand dollars to the scammers. Some of the scams are elaborate, people answer the phone with the fake company name, etc.
