Congrats to the postal workers of America, there finally exists a group of federal employees that's lazier than you.
I shudder to think what the TSA will come up with if some knucklehead tries to blow up a plane by sticking explosives up his ass.Wait. The TSA will stick fingers up my ass?

But by 2013, the FAA expects to have formulated new rules that would allow police across the country to routinely fly lightweight, unarmed drones up to 400 feet above the ground - high enough for them to be largely invisible eyes in the sky.
Awww man does that show how I feel these days...Brave? That's BRAVE?![]()
Uncontested TSA and police testimony at the trial established, among other things, three important points:
- Despite calling themselves “officers”, TSA checkpoint staff are not law enforcement officers and have no police powers — and both TSA and police are fully aware of this. When the TSA calls for the police, they are just like any other civilians who call the police, and the police have no obligation to do what they ask. Police should not act, and have no right to act, in such a case, unless the police have a reasonable basis for believing that a crime has actually been committed or is being committed.
- You have the right, recognized by the TSA, to fly without showing ID. “It happens all the time. We have a procedure for that,” according to the lead TSA “Travel Document Checker” at the Albuquerque airport. Signs and announcements in airports saying that all passengers must present ID are false.
- You have the right, recognized by the TSA, to photograph or film anywhere in publicly accessible areas of airports including TSA checkpoints, as long as you don’t violate any local laws, photograph the images on the screening monitors, interfere with the screening process, or slow down the line. (Whether those limitations to your First Amendment rights claimed by the TSA are legal or Constitutional was not decided in this case, since Mr. Mocek wasn’t filming the images on the screening monitors, interfering with the screening process, or slowing down the line.) Signs or statements that photography is prohibited at Federal checkpoints are, in general, false.
To those who don't like the TSA:
You cannot vote for slave-masters, and complain when they install dogs to herd us.

To those who are fine with the TSA: never mind. You are already lost.
FUCK YOU. We have laws for a reason, to safeguard our rights and stop people in power from fucking us over. 'being an ass' is not grounds for having your rights taken away. He wasn't doing anything illegal, therefore they should have stayed the fuck away from him.it's not ridiculous, this guy is clearly being an ass. just co operate w/ the fucking TSA, it's not that hard.
so what if it's legal or illegal, it's not a huge deal and you are making it a huge deal.

It's people like you that fuck everything up. If everyone stood their ground like the guy in the video there would be no TSA bullshit. Imagine if everyone refused to fly because of the TSA, JUST ONE DAY of boycotting the airlines would cripple the entire industry.
Know your laws and don't take the easy way out. Most of you are Americans, take advantage of the fact that you live in a litigious society and have a written codified constitution.
Boycotts have their place, but a much better solution is for all those people who are flying to take ten minutes and write letters to their Senators and Representatives telling them to vote the TSA out of existence or they will actively campaign against them next election season.
Airports in the US may be government owned, but they are filled with people working for private corporations who have every right not to be filmed while they do their jobs. You can't film in a grocery store so what makes you think you'll be filming at an airport? If an airport doesn't want you filming, you won't be filming. They can set whatever rules they want to set. If you don't like them, don't fly. That is your right after all, freedom to choose. Film is also a great way to reconnaissance a location and do research on possible security weaknesses so it's kind of a no brainer that it might be frowned upon in a high security location.
You guys are fucking funny. You think you should be allowed to do what you want, where you want, when you want and fuck everyone else. "Do away with the TSA!!!" and then what? Replace them with what? Or would you prefer that there were no security checks when moving airside at an airport? You're damned if you do, damned if you don't. Everyone bitches and moans about airport security but if there's an attack then they'll be bitching and moaning that not enough is being done (see Russia for example). You can't have it both ways.
Shut the fuck up, do what they say, and move through the security checkpoint as quickly and efficiently as possible because you're holding up the line. Is that so difficult?

The point is that he wasn't doing anything wrong, and the TSA gave him a hassle for it. This is just a video, and a non-issue in the grand scheme but IF we'd lose our right to film in public places, we'd also be losing the right to film the potential atrocities that arise in those public places. I don't know about you, but I think that's a mighty thing to lose.
A lot of you all are just fucking spoiled as hell. I bet 90% of you never served in the military or did any kind of political work to make a change in your life other then voting. If you havent put in work to actively defend or actively work on a campaign, then your nothing but a fucking cry baby pussy when someone takes away your supposed "right" to do something. Your nothing better then someone that got "handed" something or inherited something and then cry like some fags when you think someone is trying to take something away from you.
On the other hand, if you have served in the military or done something of value campaign wise, then the above statement was not for you. If you haven't worked for freedom or "rights" yourself, then you only got something handed to you out of luck and I could care less what you whine about. Just cause you were born here and leeched off the system others set up for you to your benefit, doesn't mean I wanna here you whine about something the government changed that you never worked for anyways.
If people didn't stand up for what was earned by our ancestors, what the fuck did they fight for? You think because you somehow fought/took part in the system that you're more entitled to use it? Bitch please.
Unfortunately, Freedom was given through bloodshed.... history has proven that. It's the only way to make a real change.
Peaceful protest and/or arguing doesn't solve much these days.
