They are just like G now
If you call the support they'll sit there and play games with you until you eventually get mad and hang up (they all act like they don't know what's up).
They really don't know what's up. The first line of support is highly incompetent and has been trained just lately. Most of these don't even know what you're dealing with and are learning as they go.
The billing department knows what's going on in case your account gets banned but if your campaigns get slapped you'll probably get a random reason from one of their departments giving you an idiotic reason why you are on hold.
Truth is, once you get slapped no one can get the reason why a certain editor decided your campaign isn't legit enough for their platform. And because no one in Adcenter can get that data they have to make something up usually.
Do they just do ad slaps or account slaps? Over the past couple of months I've created 4-5 campaigns ranging from direct linking to thin landing page and none of them have gotten a single impression.
I'm trying to figure out whether I should get a new account before I start pushing quality sites on their platform. And like you said their support has no clue what they're talking about.
I guess they are really going after exit pops on lp's.
From the email I received, it is my understanding that your Campaigns are no longer generating any traffic. I do understand the importance of this and I would happy to assist you.
Upon a review of your account, it would appear that due to your landing page behavior, you have been affected and have received a very high quality based ranking score. I did go to one of your landing pages and there is excessive scrolling in addition to a pop up when trying to exit the page.
In order to advertise with Microsoft again, you will need to have access to your landing pages and add more relevant content and once you have made the corrections, we would be able to appeal this decision one (1) time every six (6) months.
Microsoft adCenter has made improvements to how we establish the quality of an ad and landing page combination in relation to the user's likely intent for a given query.
Good to know. I was about to completely fuck myself for a few extra bucks. Can anyone else verify this?
I can confirm this. Your landing page or the page you linked to cannot contain exit pop. Last time I linked to merchant page with exit popup and my campaign was slapped. Good luck on those who are still doing this.
I believe new Adcenter account will give less impression ( about 1 / 5 compare to my old account). I have imported the whole campaign, but they always give me less impressions even my CTR is higher. Anyone experience this?
