Adcenter..I'm not getting any impressions

Increase your monthly spend to a really high number like $30k
and set to spend until budget depleted

you will never spend that much since the volume is usually not there and its helped my campaigns before

Yea agreed with BigWill. Your account is either under review or you're slapped. It's been a bitch getting things work lately.

slappppppppppppppp

They are just like G now
^^^^^ this

since merging with Yahoo it seems like they're super anal over things... If you call the support they'll sit there and play games with you until you eventually get mad and hang up (they all act like they don't know what's up).

They really don't know what's up. The first line of support is highly incompetent and has been trained just lately. Most of these don't even know what you're dealing with and are learning as they go.

The billing department knows what's going on in case your account gets banned but if your campaigns get slapped you'll probably get a random reason from one of their departments giving you an idiotic reason why you are on hold.

Truth is, once you get slapped no one can get the reason why a certain editor decided your campaign isn't legit enough for their platform. And because no one in Adcenter can get that data they have to make something up usually.

Do they just do ad slaps or account slaps? Over the past couple of months I've created 4-5 campaigns ranging from direct linking to thin landing page and none of them have gotten a single impression.

I'm trying to figure out whether I should get a new account before I start pushing quality sites on their platform. And like you said their support has no clue what they're talking about.

nice to know @JoseArmando...

I started another campaign, got traffic for about an hour, then it quit. Started a new account and everything worked fine ;).

I suddenly stopped getting impressions on all campaigns. The Adcenter support is totally fucked. It took them 2 days to figure out that I had a poor QBR. (Quality-Based Ranking). It is something you cannot even find anywhere on your AdCenter account. They told me that sites I am linking to have a negative user experience. Basically, copying G.
All of your keywords and ads will say active and it looks totally normal besides the no impressions.
Dude on the phone basically told me to start over and it is hopeless even if I go legit.
Basically a big fuck you to affiliate marketers especially the negative billing.
Here is what I was emailed:
"Several of the 3rd party links on the landing page have been reported as being a negative experience for users and this, in turn, affects your campaign ranking to the point that your advertising pointing to that landing page ceases to run at all. Advertiser sites with a poor user experience reflect badly on the search engine and on high-quality advertisers who advertise with us. Misleading content, “controls” that don’t do what the user expects (such as a close button that actually launches a new page), and other experiences which trap or trick the user will cause an ad to be ranked very low. I realize that referrals to those sites is likely how you are making money but until the links to sites that have misleading content, pop-ups, and negative option billing are removed your adCenter ads will not run anymore."

I'll talk to you on AIM.

OP-is your campaign based around biz opps or a similar niche?

Interested to see if this crack-down could be due to the recent FTC actions and possible new regulations...

Or if these are issues spread out amongst all niches.

I can confirm the exit pop thing. I emailed them when my impressions stopped and I got the following. This is the most confusing reply I've seen from them yet.

From the email I received, it is my understanding that your Campaigns are no longer generating any traffic. I do understand the importance of this and I would happy to assist you.

Upon a review of your account, it would appear that due to your landing page behavior, you have been affected and have received a very high quality based ranking score. I did go to one of your landing pages and there is excessive scrolling in addition to a pop up when trying to exit the page.

In order to advertise with Microsoft again, you will need to have access to your landing pages and add more relevant content and once you have made the corrections, we would be able to appeal this decision one (1) time every six (6) months.

Microsoft adCenter has made improvements to how we establish the quality of an ad and landing page combination in relation to the user's likely intent for a given query.

I get no imps but they're telling me I have a very high quality page? Excessive scrolling? Appeal every 6 months? WUT?

The last two days my account has been slapped, campaign has been running for months now (no exit pop). It was rocking for the last two weeks but the last two days have been a joke impression wise. Its not zero yet but it might as well be right now.

Uggh.

Good to know. I was about to completely fuck myself for a few extra bucks. Can anyone else verify this?

I can confirm this. Your landing page or the page you linked to cannot contain exit pop. Last time I linked to merchant page with exit popup and my campaign was slapped. Good luck on those who are still doing this.

I believe new Adcenter account will give less impression ( about 1 / 5 compare to my old account). I have imported the whole campaign, but they always give me less impressions even my CTR is higher. Anyone experience this?

Yes I've experienced the same.. My new account and my old account that i just got unblocked after emailing the rep for weeks is only delivering 1/5th of the impressions.. wtf? Hate fucking adcenter!
