Yes, but is $450 million worth 20 years? I think most people would agree it is.

I dont know.....can you find a good surgeon to revirginize your anus? There is no amount of money that would make me give up 20 years of my life. Becuase in that 20 years I could have probably found something else to do to make that kind of money....AND who knows, by the time you get out the local bank you stashed that cash at has been taken over by the government and your funds have been reappropriated to buying kevlar vests for sheep.

why the fuck are people saying 20 yrs, is he even getting 1 year in min security? my dazzle white subscription is still active and my teeth are mad white and shiny

hes not guilty guys come on

lol that didn't cross your mind at all?

Truthfully, no. When you are in a hurry to bring your site online, you don't always do your legal homework first...It wasn't until I was selling a hundred pairs a day that I decided to look into the legalities.

The product I was selling wasn't marketed as 'contact lenses'. It's been documented that the FDA had NO idea about the product until a New York Times article was released. Link: www.nytimes.com/2010/07/04/fashion/04lenses.html

Something that the FTC hates is bad press. Before the FTC allegations came out about Jesse, he had plenty of bad press, so they had to act. At the end of the day, whatever the FTC wants they get.

Jesse Willms = Greedy Scum Bag

Criminal charges are to follow the FTC suit. Expect wire fraud etc. There's nothing clever in making $450 million on the net when the entire operation is bait/switch.

We'll see you in 30 years Jesse when you're 54! Adios

Jesse Willms isn't going to see any jail time. Mark my words.

Also dude can probably skip town to Thailand and hang out with Justin Dupre until this thing blows over. Funny how people on Wickedfire making $10 a day are so paranoid about the FTC. There were thousands of people pushing rebills (and still are). How many people did FTC name in their lawsuit? 12. Let that sink in and keep on trucking my friends.

No criminal charges have been filed yet - I'd think we would've seen *something* by now if this was going to be the case. Wire fraud is one of those bully charges agencies use to push people around for not complying with initial requests unfortunately.

18 U.S.C. § 1343

"Whoever, having devised or intending to devise any scheme or artifice to defraud, or for obtaining money or property by means of false or fraudulent pretenses, representations, or promises, transmits or causes to be transmitted by means of wire, radio, or television communication in interstate or foreign commerce, any writings, signs, signals, pictures, or sounds for the purpose of executing such scheme or artifice, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both. If the violation affects a financial institution, such person shall be fined not more than $1,000,000 or imprisoned not more than 30 years, or both."

So many things fall under this that even a bad ebay sale could constitute wire fraud is the problem.
