No Dancing In Public

No. I'm not an American at all. And I'm not at all sure that I'd like to come and live in a country with such strange laws.
I hear you, brother!

The legal system here alone is enough to make any smart american flee into some other country like Thailand. (Which is probably why about 1/8th of WF members are American Expats in Thailand....) People with money, fame, or with corporate influence literally get away with murder nowadays. (Ever since OJ.)

Anyway, your previous avatar made you look like a southerner (someone from the southeast united states) & proud of the confederacy. Your biohazard symbol is a far better choice IMHO.

Yes. I am a Confederate sympathiser. With freedom, not with slavery (like Robert E. Lee). But biohazard might fit my anarchist views!

You do know that there is a lot more to this story?

It's the Jefferson 'Memorial' and his goes back all the way April 2008 when they staged a group protest and dance at the Memorial. They acted like idiots and after not agreeing to stop got themselves arrested.

Oberwetter sued the arresting officer and park police for violating her First Amendment right to free expression and Fourth Amendment right against unlawful seizure (illegal arrest). In May 2011, the U.S. Court of Appeals in the District of Columbia rejected Oberwetter's claims, confirming a lower court's finding that "the Jefferson Memorial is a nonpublic forum reserved for the tranquil commemoration of [President] Jefferson's legacy" and that Ms. Oberwetter had violated reasonable rules in place intended to maintain the monument for that purpose. Oberwetter v Hilliard (C.A.D.C. No. 10-5078, 5/17/11).

The video above is of a 'code pink' protest against the final outcome of the resulting lawsuit and them disagreeing with it. Notice the number of professional camera's and rigs already on the scene. Everyone has been warned AHEAD of time that this is disallowed and the cop in the video warned them again when they started to dance.

This is trying to create a propaganda video for 'their' purposes.

I've seen video's of police brutality... this ain't it....

The shooting of the Marine in Arizona a few weeks ago.... THAT was police brutality!

What are you, a recent Immigrant?

Look up Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka, Kansas. Especially on YouTube... These assholes show up at funerals nationwide to "warn" the grieving that something they did is hated by god, and everyone involved is going to hell. -Been going on for a long time now and there is even a counter-culture of bikers that go to military funerals with giant flags to block these asshole's view of the funeral.

It has been widely accepted Westboro is doing this all as a way to attract lawsuits, which they then counter and win big money because of our fucked-up freedom of speech laws.
I honestly think that one of these days, somebody is going to start shooting when they see those church members.

Or better yet:

They were about to picket a soldier's funeral in Mississippi, and here's what happened:

A couple of days before, one of them (Westboro protestors) ran his mouth at a Brandon gas station and got his arse waxed. Police were called and the beaten man could not give much of a description of who beat him. When they canvassed the station and spoke to the large crowd that had gathered around, no one seemed to remember anything about what had happened.
Rankin County handled this thing perfectly. There were many things that were put into place that most will never know about and at great expense to the county.
Most of the morons never made it out of their hotel parking lot. It seems that certain Rankin county pickup trucks were parked directly behind any car that had Kansas plates in the hotel parking lot and the drivers mysteriously disappeared until after the funeral was over. Police were called but their wrecker service was running behind and it was going to be a few hours before they could tow the trucks so the Kansas plated cars could get out.
A few made it to the funeral but were ushered away to be questioned about a crime they might have possibly been involved in. Turns out, after a few hours of questioning, that they were not involved and they were allowed to go on about their business.

There was no protest. They were dancing around midnight to pay tribute to Jefferson and then one of them refused to stop and that one person was arrested.

The video above is of a 'code pink' protest against the final outcome of the resulting lawsuit and them disagreeing with it.

One person with a "code pink" shirt makes it "code pink" protest? Adam Kokesh appears to be the main organizer and he has ran for office as a republican.

There are people out there that actually look at the issue at hand, and don't care how it supposedly fits into left vs. right political crap.

This is trying to create a propaganda video for 'their' purposes.

People usually use the word "propaganda" when they are misleading. This appears to be an actual representation of what happens if you refuse to stop dancing at the Jefferson memorial.

Awesome! Where are those lame ass policy enforcement men now
