After James Caan's unfortunate incident last fall he is off the show. Replaced with a woman who has hair of questionable dinkum, but seems pretty sharp.

"Within the first 3 years I'd made my first million."

If she can do it then you can.

Can't stand her already. Every time I see her I think of Cruella De Vil. And that voice, a proper advertisement for no smoking.

lol at the Dragons domaining "Can you believe she got the dot com??"

Yeah wow thepresentclub.com...

I like that show, except I don't like the standard BBC format:

First 5 Minutes: Welcome to the dragons den blah blah blah, dragons have their own money blah blah blah here's some clips of what's going to happen immediately after I stfu. Then here's the presenter talking about whats going to happen.

Person makes their presentation, then recap by presneter going back over the video, then second half, recap. What's up next, recap etc. Drives me nuts.

Dragons are smart though.

Just what I was thinking. Also, the way they were talking about websites like they knew their shit, but were pretty much talking out of their ass.

I don't know what it's like in the US, but over here, I've not met anyone IRL who know anything in depth about websites/seo. Even "pros".

The "internet" is still very much a new thing over here, people still get their internet through ADSL ffs.

UK is so fucking backwards in terms of tech it's unreal.

I'm in Spain, so I wouldn't know. But a bunch of business people who are grilling someone about their net business acumen and at the same time talking out of their ass themselves is pretty daft.

UK is not really that backwards when it comes to the internet, you should see Spain.

My fave part of last nights show was when Peter Jones was amazed that the girl with the shitty website got the .com lolololol.

Thepresentclub.com

ROFL - watching it I felt like I could go on and say I have this amazing news site that promotes berries and they would be fighting to make me teh offer.

This is just not true at all.

Just watched the new ep. That retard at the end annoyed me. He gave away 25% of his business for £120k when the biz is doing £600k profit annually. The fuck is up with that? He valued his biz at £1.2m when you get fucknuts coming in with a $250 website off elance valuing their biz at £1m+.

It pissed me off from the start "all the dragons are self made millionaires"

Well except that sour faced bitch Meaden who inherited her parents business. Theo, Duncan and Meaden are cunts of the highest order

What's wrong with Theo?

Personally I think either Peter or Duncan is the biggest cunt, probably Peter. Don't get why no one else thinks Peter's a cunt.

The first woman's pitch was just nerve-wracking... the choking was painful to watch. And the Dragons' knowledge of computers/Internet is nonexistent. Listening to them talking about it was almost as painful as the pitch. Comments on her domain / "source code" / etc... sheesh.
