USPS paying people $25/hour to do nothing, unions, etc

The USPS and most other gov't employee unions looks like lightweights compared to these thugs...

These guys actions tell you everything you need to know about what lengths union members will go to to get what they want, and their "just fighting for the rights of working class people everywhere" is exposed for the BS it is when you realize their replacements were also union.

Holy fucking fucker fuck that's some deep shit! I'd never heard of union blockades getting that out of control... Cutting brake lines and threatening cops with a baseball bat.

If I was that cop I'd come back with an AK-47 and MOW ALL THAT TRASH DOWN!

That's it; I officially change my stance on unions from:

"They suck, they are communism, and are harmful to the free market and my wallet."

to:

"LETS KILL ALL THESE DIRTY FUCKERS!"

TIL lukep wants to kill everyone from Jessica Alba to Peyton Manning.

Ronald Reagan was president of the Screen Actors Guild and led at least one strike. John Wayne was on the board.

They were both also members of the Motion Picture Alliance for the Preservation of American Ideals, whose main purpose was to stand up against the threat of communist infiltration into Hollywood.

Peyton I could do without, but Jessica gets a free pass, of course.

Yeah, I know I kind of got carried away; perhaps I should amend that to the death penalty for union members convicted of a serious crime, like cutting those brake lines. (That's attempted murder! Why not?)

Hey so in the mob movies, how would they take care of union problems as a favor for a business owner?

Your comment reminds me of this movie. It was Stallone's first movie after Rocky, so it must have gotten a lot of attention at the time, but it has been mostly forgotten.

It's been about five years since I saw it, but from what I remember it has scenes with both union and company thugs launching attacks.

The whole movie is up on youtube now :

well blue collar workers are fucked anyway, we'll be safe, we'll keep selling acai berries to the emerging chinese middle class.

on a serious note I think we're gonna have robots doing all the work with mail.

The UK unions have prevented the royal mail from investing in robots that can sort out all the mail, fucking monkeys want to do a robots job. So now our postal system is 50 years out of date, using systems designed for a completely different time.

It will be inevitable, the royal mail will have to reform, cant keep paying moneys to do a robots job, we may even have robot postal workers, no workers comp from breaking their back or doing their knee in, just feed them electricity, and they'll roll around on skates delivering everyones mail.

you know, quite true, cause I always got US mail, but never got UK mail from moneybookers to verify my home address:)

Judge Nap is entitled to his opinions, but they are at times, incredibly ignorant.

That is the problem with being a minarchist. All of their political and social theories are ad hoc, and they can't commit to sound economics without undermining their social theory.

In some ways, I have found that the chasm between anarchists and minarchists is just as wide as the one between anarchists and statists.

Union in general are jokes.

Its all about adding more security for not working as hard.

I know a lot of construction/welding people around here, owners and employees.
The employees are usually split into field and shop (shop is usually is all union)
ALL of the real hard workers complain about unions and how it enables people to act lazy and get no shit done knowing they have seniority.

It also makes it impossible for new entries to the sector to get good wages / positions / hours.

Unions are completely stupid, people who are for them like handouts and probably support all the OWS bullshit.

I didnt read all the posts, dont really care too, but I did see something about lukep and unions = communism. Lukep is lukep, yet he is 100% right (in the 10% i read)

note: My dad is a fabricator, it is a union job. I worked summers at his shop. I saw the people he complains about daily spending 45 mins in washrooms, doing nothing, and have been there for 20+years. Do you really think hard workers enjoy paying union fees every month just to be lower on the seniority list then a mind numb jackoff.

The Canadian government's postal workers just went on strike a few months ago because they wanted a pension with full-benefits, an increase in their salary, etc.

The fact that somebody can get paid $30/hour to deliver pieces of paper to houses is absurd. I agree that unions for government positions like this are completely stupid.

But you think its okay for one to get paid millions and millions of dollars to run around on a field with a ball in their hands?
