Do you fuckers donate?

Sometimes private trackers. Other than that, pretty much nothing.

If I was balling I would like to help the less fortunate in some way, but I would do it directly - not throw money away for charities to do mass media advertising. And if your donating to any African/similar charities, due to extortion and corruption, how much of your cash do you think will end up in politicians/gangs pockets as opposed to where it should end up?

Back when I was too poor to pay all of my bills I cancelled my fucking cable TV and internet service. I used free ad supported dialup internet with an ad-free hack until I could afford broadband again.

Yep, you have to weed through the idiots asking for crap they don't need. Last year the site was much better, but now a lot of people are taking advantage.

I donate to several charities and also donate blood.

The word "charity" was not specified in the thread title or first post here.

Even the ancestors of the "Native" Americans were immigrants from Asia that walked across the Bering land bridge. They were also known to "steal" land from each other. ;)
 
About once a year around the holidays I'll go fill up the back of a jeep with a lot of canned vegetables and stuff like that and donate it to a local food bank. I'm not really big into donating money, unless you count giving money to the occasional dipshit who insists he or she will pay me back when I know they won't and I don't expect them to.
 
I donate monthly to the ASPCA and Human Society. A lot of people forget about animals in the donation mix. I also donate to local animal shelters "here and there". I also donate to my 90 year old grandma :D

Reminded me of something while I was living in Vancouver. Went into Tim Hortons one time, and there was this young homeless lady sitting by the door, so I asked if she wanted something to eat. I kid you not, her response was, "no, I'm already full, thanks. but I'll get a double latte with extra whip cream and chocolate sprinkles please". WTF???

Myself, don't currently donate, but think I'll give Kiva a go now. I know my dad loves it, and has been using it for years.
