- Able to discuss past work and show examples
- Ability to hit the ground running
- Should be located in North America
- Relocation a possibility for right candidates

Seeking mid to advanced only.
(Juniors need not apply)

Do not send your life story via PM, just further contact details.
PM me if above is you - Include email + skype.

You will be contacted by email for more details over next 2 weeks.

Will mention again - seeking mid to advanced only.

Several SEO positions to fill.

Location is Vancouver, Canada.

Salary is commensurate with skills and experience

For very senior or director level, we might consider looking beyond N. America.

If you live in Vancouver, we will consider less than 5 years experience for junior to mid roles, depending on experience.

Not for POF. Not Reinvent either. Even if you live here chances are you aren't familiar with us.

fwiw, we're moving to 9k sq ft in around june (on the waterfront) and lots of growth happening. Good opp for right people.

Tough sell. I feel like anyone with 5 years of high level SEO experience would make way more money on their own versus working for a company.

You may also get people from 3rd world countries for much cheaper price. To 'work in Canada' they would come for a lower salary (1/4th of what a US/Ca person expects) because it's going to be higher than whatever they earn already + they have immigration chance.

yeah but to do that they'd have to justify that they can't find local workforce. Tough...

Was about to come in talking all manner of shit about wanting someone with 5 years experience and how unrealistic that is for the reasons mentioned above until I saw who OP was..

We already have an office in India. The work over there is obviously cheaper, but often sub par as many rely on an outdated approach (submissions, etc) that just don't cut it in more competitive markets. Of course there are exceptions, and sometimes suitable in a certain capacity, but not in this case.

We're after people that can take ownership and hit the ground running. We're not an agency, this is for in-house work.

We've been advertising in the bay area and nyc in the past and have been speaking with a few candidates that have worked with big banks and other markets.

headiez247, I disagree. Just because someone has 5 years experience doesn't ensure success. And some might like the security of a regular paycheck in addition to what they have on the side, on the opportunity to work on big projects beyond white label or affiliate sites.

Qualified individuals would likely be compensated similar to or above what is suggested as current standards for an seo salary. But it's all relevant to experience and what you bring.

Thanks for input Ly, with your dogpile experience there could be something for you if you can relocate to India.

Markus I respect you for all you've done but I agree with other posters here. You're asking for someone that really knows their seo game. But anyone with that kind of experience is going to want to work for themselves. The only people that would take your offer are seos that don't make enough $$$ for themselves.

Basically your asking for the best ppl to work for you but the only people that would actually work for you are ppl that are underqualified.

I think if you really wanted a great seo guy you'd have to offer more or a JV position with some kind of vested interest. Besides that I don't think WF is the place to hire ppl like this.

leadsupplier, I appreciate your comments.

We have a recruiter that is looking, and posting to the right places, I'm just casting a wider net. Almost 10 PMs and a few look interesting at first glance.

Its not entirely impossible that we wouldn't provide compensation as you've suggested for the right people.

Why do you care so much?

Markus, I have the perfect candidate for you if telecommute is an option.
