Who The Fuck is Voting For Rick Santorum?

Political process is just fucking sad. We all know Obama is going to win again. No other candidate has a chance.

I keep waiting for Rick to have his Babeu moment -- whoops, extreme conservative caught in a gay relationship with an undocumented immigrant. Something about him makes me think he's one of the villains in Buffy or Supernatural, where to the exterior world the image is one of return-to-stone-age ideals but behind closed doors is eating the marrow from babies.
Is he really a credible alternative to Romney? I get the sense Santorum gets straw votes simply because the old people are afraid of the mormons...the way Kennedy hit interference for being catholic. Frankly, those two candidates can keep going at each other because while I disagree with Ron Paul on some things, I think he's by far the most logical and intellectually honest of the bunch.

Exactly. Come a presidential debate, Obama would make any one of these guys look like the complete tools they are.
That's why you don't really see Obama even trying to campaign right now. He knows his competition is such a total joke, he can just show up a few months before the election, beat down anyone in a debate / speech, and win the Presidency again out-right.

That's hardly what's available in their arsenal. Just wait until he actually begins campaigning. Again, they're not putting too much energy into the re-election campaign right now, and it's for a reason. They already know they have it in the bag, and they do.
Seriously, does anyone actually see Mitt Romney or Rick Santorum sitting in the White House, as the leader of the "free" world? Not likely...
If anything, this election season will be the time where people become so unbelievably pissed off at the piss poor choices they have as to who will lead their country, you'll see some actual civil rebellion. Then again, the propaganda machine in the US is pretty strong, so probably not.
they are all unelectable. Saw a pole where 60% of the "republican/conservative" voters would like a wider candidate selection. Which pretty much means they all suck. It really makes me ill to imagine 4 more years of this socialist dictator but I just don't see away around it
- The sheeple that don't do any research on candidates and are only informed from the media.
- The sheeple that think that media polls accurately reflect actual political positions.
- The sheeple that think that their vote won't count unless they decide between the current top-two people in current polls.
- The sheeple that don't understand that they actually are throwing their vote away by not voting for who they really believe in, thus creating a self-fulfilling action.
Santorum wants to outlaw all forms of birth control. Plus all abortion. Even though his own wife had to have an abortion to save her life when a miscarriage went terribly wrong. He was okay with that, just not with YOUR abortion. Also, his wife lived with her boyfriend for years before she got married. The boyfriend? An older man who not only was a professional abortionist -that was his actual job -- but the guy also DELIVERED Santorum's wife when she was a baby.
But no moral conflicts there. Geesh. At least if you're going to pick a side of any issue, be fucking consistent about it.
