Netflix Streaming Thread Pt.2



Just watched "The Hunter" with Willem Dafoe. Was a cool, introspective movie with action and great scenery.

One of the better movies I've enjoyed in while.

Jaybob has it up for DL if you're a torrent guy.

(almost the only time a remake is better than the original. this movie is just great.)


Believe it or not, I actually don't watch much TV. I watch an average of 6 movies a week, or about one a night. Regular TV kinda sucks so I'm a Netflix streaming aficionado.
 
I just watched 8: The Mormon Proposition (it's not on netflix, just downloaded it)...this doesn't really have anything to do with your thread topic but fuck it...god damn fucking mormons amirite???

You guys absolutely have to see The Lost. It's the best B movie I've seen in a loooooong time, maybe ever

The trailer doesn't capture the vibe. It's very campy yet brutal at the same time, with great acting by the main character.

I think this sums it up quite well...

Hanging out at some campgrounds one nice summer day, 19-year-old Ray Pye decides to murder two young women. His friends, Jen and Tim, witness the murder and help him cover it up. Four years later, Ray has never been arrested for the crime. Detective Charlie Schilling and his ex-partner, Ed Anderson, know that Ray did it. They just could never prove it. Charlie figures it's about time they did prove it. He's ready to push Ray harder than ever. Charlie and Ed never found the gun that Ray used to murder the women at the campground. That rifle, as well as a handgun, are hidden behind the mirror in Ray's bathroom. Ray can only be pushed so far. The time will come when he takes the mirror off the wall and shows everyone who is in charge.

I watched Twelve Monkeys again the other night, amazing fucking movie. If you like mindfuck movies with just enough celebrity actors (Bruce Willis, Brad Pitt) in it to make it a 'mainstream' movie then Twelve Monkeys is for you.

Also - watch the fucking Prestige if you haven't seen it yet. I put it off for ages thinking I wouldn't like it, watched it recently and loved it.

Just started Steven Spielbergs 'Taken' mini series. Its started off pretty damn slow but looks like its going to be quite good.

it was on there, i know for a fact! now it's fucking not streaming anymore

@JarredLV, treasure quest was a sick ass concept, and i watched all the 'sodes, but i was pissed that they never actually really found anything
