Limited, as T202 and leads202 the same + more features. That's what I meant.
Also there are a lot more "switches" in cpv lab. I'm not saying they are absolutely necessary, but they are not present in prosper. Don't get me wrong. Prosper202 is fine software, I don't have problems with the software itself. I did everything I needed and still does. Everything that I might need in future is probably delivered through leads202.
free vs. freemium:
That is what fremium means. Some features are unlocked after you pay for them. YOU DON'T GET TO BLAST EMAILS MARKETING 3RD PARTY STUFF. That is the model you chose, stick with it.
Do you agree that prosper202 is a showcase for tracking202, leads202, whatever other software they have and their services?
See, I didn't make this thread when they emailed me with their VIP packages(they connect you with potential advertisers). They probably take a fee from the advertiser, with which I have nothing against. They are marketing their own stuff.
I made this thread after they raped my email with stupid crap, and using sneak oil tactics. They should have known better. <- that is my whole point.
I expected more professional attitude from them.
When you showcase your professionalism through a free product, you don't do stupid shit like that, because you lose your potential clients, because you lose your credibility.
Maybe that is why people switch to other solutions when they go big, instead of upgrading to their paid products.
Food for thought?
I see where you're coming from. Personally I don't see p202 as a way for them to "push" the more paid products directly (though I'm sure that is the main focus in general). I see it just as a way to get their brand recognition up in front of other people. I've never seen an ad from them on the paid products or any products in general, so I must have a little different of a view towards it.
But then again, pushing 3rd party products that may not jive well with their "clientbase" is completely on them. I wouldn't do it, but when you've got a product that's widely accepted and has no ... let's say, up front monetization module that's statistically significant than sometimes you have to figure out other ways. Not saying theirs isn't or they needed something else as I don't know their financials or anything in depth behind their offering, all I know is they give away a product for free that used to not even cost me my e-mail address. Now it does, and I'm still fine with it.
But the bottom line is everyone views things differently. Both from the client & the provider side. I don't think you're wrong, but I also don't think they are. And most importantly I'm not in a position to judge whether anyone is wrong or not in this situation.
My 2 cents.
