Still waiting for real life experience. I'll take it you don't have any.
Because it works on the same underlying principle - that is to introduce genetical traits that aren't present in the "normal" breed. The breeding we do is just an old fashioned way of achieving the same effect.
If you're afraid a pig gene in a tomato will have an unforeseen effects on our bodies you are right - it can have, just as a new breed of certain vegetable can have. That's why we do research and tests etc when a new food is introduced for human consumption.
Did you test your inflammation levels?
C-reactive protein (CRP) is protein found in the blood, the levels of which rise in response to inflammation (i.e. C-reactive protein is an acute-phase protein). Its physiological role is to bind to phosphocholine expressed on the surface of dead or dying cells (and some types of bacteria) in order to activate the complement system via the C1Q complex.[1]
Nobody here has posted any legit science against GMO. I'm waiting for something besides hyperbole.
You still can't. GMO is done to decrease nutrient requirements, increase drought resistance, and make a plant not attractive to pests.
There has been absolutely zero evidence showing GMO is dangerous to humans. None. Ever.
Still waiting for scientific evidence. I'll take it you don't have any.
Wow, seriously? You made a claim, back it up. It's pretty obvious you're basing it on pure hyperbole and empty rhetoric with a shitty reply like that.
You will still get fat eating a fuck ton of fruit. High sugar, causes insulin spikes. It especially goes for drinking juice, no matter how organic it is.
Still waiting for scientific evidence. I'll take it you don't have any.
Really John? Coming from the resident WF "scientist" that's pretty shocking. Where's your evidence? Show me the evidence that absolutely proves GMO foods are entirely safe. You can't, because they haven't been around long enough to discount any risk.
I read the article earlier and refrained from commenting but there's too much stupid going on here. Can someone explain to me how this makes any sense?
"The rest of us have simply followed the recommended mainstream dietthat is low in fat and high in polyunsaturated fats and carbohydrates, not knowing we were causing repeated injury to our blood vessels."
How is it that a "low in fat" diet, allows for "high in polyunsaturated fats" ? A low fat diet = low fat diet to me. No added fats whatsoever, especially not oils.
You will not get fat eating a ton of fruit. It's amazing how many times I hear this from fat people. I eat a high raw diet and on some days I'll get 3k+ fruit calories and I can assure you I am far from being fat. It's just not possible.
Not exactly what you're looking for and I don't feel like really digging to please you but your question is like asking 75 years ago for scientific proof that smoking is bad for you. All I know is we should not fuck with nature. Good luck bros.

If you are referring to C-Reactive Protein, then yes I did :

I have a below average chance of future heart disease compared to the average American. Makes me hungry for some GMO corn fed beef right now.
I never made the initial claim of how dangerous they are.

I'm sorry but but any caloric intake over your maintenance (regardless of calorie source) will cause you to gain fat. That's simple math. I would love to know how you are getting 3k+ calories daily from just fruit calories. You eating an apple tree a day?
I have a below average chance of future heart disease compared to the average American. Makes me hungry for some GMO corn fed beef right now.
It's not simple math. A calorie from fruit is not a calorie from potato chips. Don't make me dig up the science for you, someone else do it for me please. Something about carbs getting stored as glycogen and fat getting stored as, well [/IMG]
For a forum full of marketers who sell products on hype and not evidence, you sure love to fall for hype with no evidence.
Simply not true about fruit and not getting fat. If you're consuming more calories and high sugar than you are using, you will get fat regardless if it's all fruit or not.
lol 4 of the top 9 factors "increasing" risk of heart disease are diet related
Processed foods, refined sugars, low nutrient foods must not have anything to do with the situation.
50/50 chance of getting heart disease in the US. Why not in every country? inb4 genes
