Thanks for the kind words, I too get burnt out on the news from time to time. I do feel better when I have a project, but I keep it small and obtainable always.

I hope someone can make a change. My girlfriend has had 3 members of her family murdered by the zetas in the last few years. Hits close to home.

Upon doing a Google search for find matching images, there are 2 sites still displaying it, a blogspot blog (easy enough) mundonarco, historiasdelnarco, and fairly crappy blurring on tierradelnarco. Not that this kid isn't either dead/in a safe house.
 
Funny but the blogspot blog has been a bit of a bitch. No contact form etc. Reported to Google citing their ToS/content policy for blogger "Child safety: We have a zero tolerance policy towards content that exploits children." But that seems to be a waste of time.

The guy that runs this site has three more crappy blogs where he posted the content too. None of his sites have responded. It's about to get ugly.

The good thing is that these blogs all scraped the original content from mund0narco and that admin and I have a clear understanding now. (It got down and dirty ;) ) Hopefully squashing this at the source will prevent future incidents.

If this kid is dead... at least maybe I can stop it from happening again. :(

There is nothing more terrifying to Narco-blog webmasters than a middle aged woman with a knack for fiercely typing on her keyboard from the safety of her home in the USA.

I can only assume from your dismissal that you must be doing much bigger and better things for humanity. I'd love to hear about it. Me? I keep it small... I got the local papers to stop publishing photos and identifying information of victims of sexual assault, domestic violence etc. I personally donate office equipment, air conditioners and books to local classrooms. I help coordinate and execute fundraising events for "Corderos Perdidos" a local charity that provides legal services, medical assistance and hot meals to the local homeless population. So maybe I'm not doing all I could but at least I'm not sitting on my ass criticizing those who are doing. How about you?
 
I remember when this was doing a good dead, now we save drug lord kids for our own self gratifications. Next we will be saving planets from increasing in temperature.
