Wickedfire Member Sells Startup For $120MM

Sent you a PM.

I replied, but I guess the message never arrived because of my "low post count". Mr. Purple Pimp Daddy must have thrown my ability to reply to a pm off. Pimp bitches have that level of control. I bow in reference to such authority. [whatever that means]

I have a few questions that need to be addressed before I can continue with your questions and concerns. I need your contact email address since it's apparent I have no ability to contact or reply to you.

If you need credentials, I'll be happy to supply them.

Translation: "I've contributed absolutely nothing to this community, as verified by a post count so low that I can't even send a private message. However, I would like access to the knowledge and acumen of established community members so that I can try to create and accomplish something that I have no idea how to do."

Are you really this stupid?
I would expect to hear anything but not this from this ignorant community.

In case you haven't noticed, it doesn't matter what you contribute here, the only thing that matters is your post count and how old your account is, and probably if somebody remembers your avatar or stupid sig-link.
If those metrics don't add up, you aren't an "established community fuckwit"

Now, this goes a step further. The WF community fuckwits assume that your skill levels are exactly linear to your account metrics (Truth be told, there is rather a reverse correlation... check eduards metrics).
So that's contradicting. How can a new member contribute anything if he doesn't know anyting? You tell me, faggot.

i was new once. but i knew how to spell when fighting back, so as not to cut my own legs out from beneath me. learn or fold.

i also learned when not to fight back and simply shut the fuck up. you're two hiccups from getting banned. think about it.

This isn't THAT surprising. From the limited time I have been here so far, I have seen some of the members here do things I hadn't even thought possible before. This forum is a decently tightknit community that actually exchanges valuable info and services.

I wouldn't expect to see that kind of success on say, another forum I cannot name.

Wow this board has really degenerated.

I do remember GameTheory couple of years back - they had crazy creatives for Officialiqquiz.com that were literally plastered on every socialmedia/torrent/tier 3 traffic site.

I think they pushed the bing toolbar using makemybaby/zombieme so hard that Microsoft was forced to modify the terms and eventually killed the offer.

I have a feeling this guy made more money from CPA than the two start ups combined. What with all the partners, VCs and the like.

Of course, the start-ups are way cooler!! And Bright is an amazing piece of tech very relevant today...

Im not so sure - if he already had capital from his first 51 million acquisition in 2012, he probably had leverage to hang onto a decent chunk of equity in Bright.com. Say 30%-40%, thats still 30$ million-ish in a lump sum for just over a years work.

Not counting the salary he paid himself (probably decent but tiny compared to the exit) and other money he took off the table in the VC funding rounds.

I can't believe anyone other than a very small number of Jesse Wilms type characters make anything remotely close to that from arbitrage and CPA affiliate stuff.

this was started on a shoe string budget in 2003. Sold for $135 in 2013. Almost regular affiliate site with some value attached...

Ah yeah, I know brands that rely on a performance related advertising model have done well. MSE, Uswitch, a million comparison sites. I meant more along the lines of buying traffic and linking to offers, rather than building a real brand and audience that is monetised by CPA.
