These days it is hard to avoid working on the road at various
coffee shops and public wiFi......

So what can you do to make the connection secure and not
let prying eyes see or steal your sensitive data.....?

I guess it would help to have a 3G data card for your Laptop
from ATT or Verizon ??

dude are you stoned?

please only respond if you can say something useful.
SkipStaa, you are making yourself look like a moron.

SSL, SSH, pretty much just encrypt anything you are transmitting.

Use 1024, 2048, or the maximum bits possible for the encryption before transmitting any data

PS: nobody is listening to your packets... are you sure you're not just stoned?

Bro if you gotta take your laptop to WORK while you're trying to take a break at some coffee shop then you are doing affiliate marketing all wrong...

If you are trolling enough coffee shops in your neighborhood where long wifi connections are a security issue then maybe you should just work from home and put on a pot of coffee..

If you are trying to hit on the beatniks that frequent these joints then leave the laptop at home, slap on the jesus sandles and sip some grande verde mocha non-lattes

3G Data Cards are the greatest thing that's ever happened to me as an internet marketer. I can be almost anywhere and have internet access. It's like being a turtle that can take their office on their back with them.

Get A gun >?

Great answer, actually. ^ I don't know what kind of answers you expect, asking silly questions that have nothing to do with AM in the AM forum.

3G cards are decent but speeds feel like 56K. And if you have any decent phone you can tether Internet to your laptop anyway (if you have net service on your phone). It's free.

Go ask on a security forum for more detailed, trustworthy answers.

Why bother getting a wireless card just so nobody can snoop on your data? As a few others have said, setup a VPN.

I've got a couple friends with 3G cards and I saw dsl quality speed using them. But I agree with the tether idea.
