Lots of spanish translation software translates this as a legal trial in court, not a free product trial. The word for that in spanish is more like "demonstration" in english. So use a human being when translating.

Agreed. You can easily test the insufficient accuracy of machine translation by running the phrase you just translated backwards. You'll usually get hilarious results.

the right word in spanish for "trial" is more something like "pruebalo".
Avoid transaltion software. They sound/transalte like a robot.

That's wierd, considering Brazil has lots of potential when it comes to internet marketing. E-commerce has grown substantially here, but I think on the other hand advertisers don't value affiliates that much down here.

Maybe an idea would be to start an affiliate network here, but then again I wouldn't know how to proceed.

Fact is... This market will be profitable some time, and I'd like to be there when it happens.

As a network Tatto Media has a few Brazilian offers. It is true that the payouts are lower, but we have a brazilian diet offer that pays out just like a US diet offer. PM me if you are interested.

Wow... that's gotta be a candidate for the Myopic Awards.
There are several other markets just as lucrative as non-English ones either by volume (i.e. China - where the middle class is now roughly a large as the registered US population) or by value of currency and sales (i.e. Japan - where people are still amazingly gullible en masse).

The problem is marketing in another language. You'll be just as lame as all those Indians trying to market stuff to us from DP.

A friend of mine, whom I introduced to affiliate marketing earlier this year is now killing it with Japanese offers. You just have to know what insecurities to plug into to make bank. He's pulling maybe $300 a day in profit on top of his day job.
Free tip - Japanese guys all want to have dicks like black guys supposedly have. I'd assume he uses something like "巨大な黒人ペニスを大幅に女性を感動させる"* in his Adwords campaigns.

*Sorry bombtastic, my Jap relies on Babelfish.
 
Out of curiosity, is it possible (or more likely) to run nasty biz opps, rebills, etc. in a foreign language because most Google account reviewers wouldnt even know what they were looking at if they manually reviewed your site and just said "screw it" and moved on to the next?

Google specifically hires manual reviewers that speak foreign languages to review ads in other languages. They might have a higher work load than the average English reviewer so it might be easier to slip something past but I doubt it.

Very interesting. I would be inclined to think that the Japanese market would be more wary of online offers but at the same time their comfort level with e-commerce might make them an excellent traffic source.

Has anybody had success with traditional anti-aging offers in Japan?
