This Sales Video Made Me Laugh

first delusion, he's offering a personal service with a tiered pricing structure. Huh? What the fuck is that? Do you know what different price options do to a prospect when it comes to a service? It scares them in a level 5 clinger kind of way. It does not push them towards the first tier, it just scares them away entirely. This is not a commodity, this isn't a cell phone plan, this is a dick head coming into your office with a fucking video camera where the only upgrade is...wait for it... MORE FRESH VIDEO!!!!! No sales person in his right mind would go "hey Mr. Prospect, I can do this for $5k right now, or even better $22k over a period of six months, or woah...a full fucking year for $40k ya know so i can put the kid through college! What's it gonna be?" Oh wow Mr Dick Head thanks. I guess you could do it in my ass for an eternity too? "Sure thing! Let's see how big we can make the money/time/rape you in the ass numbers Mr. Prospect. One sec..."

His pitch should have been one third technical/videography/marketing related, one third past work, and the last bit with a really easy call to action. Like sign up here for a lawyer video case study bla bla bla...email your prospects and try to get them on a call/webinar/whatever where you can attempt to close.

Yep - I bet he thought he had an epiphany too. Wait, I figured out how to differentiate....MORE VIDEOS! No one is doing that. I'm gonna KILL it. Laughable.
 
I reckon he probably does pretty well.

In my experience of selling what you guys would consider VERY basic services to offline business owners, this stuff is like total voodoo to them. And compared to the money these guys spend on things like indemnity insurance and legal library fees, $5000 isn't a big deal.
