You've got 25k to pend on a car, what do you buy?

You should lease the 335i man. My friend has it on lease (approx. 400/month) and the lease covers all service, repairs, etc... I'm thinking of doing the same. He's a car dealer and advised me against buying a beamer because they're quite expensive to service after the warranty runs out.

Just a thought.

Assumed you were talking about a new car for some reason.. oops.

Huh? Leasing prices are based on depreciation. You might not have to 'deal' with it, but you're paying it, and the largest amount of depreciation of a car occurs in the first two years of it's existence.

I twisted my words around a bit..

Leasing you only pay for the part of the car you use pretty much vs paying for the whole damn thing, regardless of how long you use it. You can get 'more for your money' that way by leasing and getting a new car every couple of years. For some reason I assumed OP was talking brand new.. so the above is irrelevant anyway.

id' lease a used porsche cayman or 911. Since the value is steady as fuck, you won't even end up paying a lot for it

if u wanna go for the bimmer.. get a Z4 coupe. Are those even available there?

this. If you take GOOD care of your cars, a luxury lease is not a bad option (not to mention possible write offs). Although MOST luxury vehicles - All repairs, including wear and tear, i.e - brakes, oil changes, wipers, tires etc are all covered under the terms of your lease agreement.

335i its a coupe. But you'll have to find one with like 50k miles if you want it for 25k.
I got a 330 cause I needed the extra doors. Wish I got the couple now.

I have driven in a Ford Fusion and I was really impressed. As someone who has always badmouthed American-made cars, I could seriously see myself getting one if I needed a new car. It had a ton of cool features, was pretty slick, and is cheap as fuck.

I recently got a Honda, and you really can't go wrong. I got an Accord Coupe, which is kind of rare (I don't see a lot of them on the road). The thing is a beast. Get an oil change every 5k miles and it runs like a champ. This is my second Honda and I haven't had any problems. Been really happy w/ em.

You can claim the deduction on your car based on % of use for business. So if you spend, say 5K on the car and 50% is business use I think you can deduct 50% of 5K. Then if you use it 60% for business you can deduct the whole amount (run these numbers by your accountant; that's what mine told me anyway).

There is a depreciation deduction in there as well but not sure how it plays out if you're leasing.

This thing will ride the fuck out on almost any other car you pull up next to and yet it looks so innocent.

I owned this car's cousin... not the most reliable. as for OP, get an 335i or S4.. don't pay the M3 premium.
