Shame on every network that takes on these advertisers and slings this at $40 payouts.

You can cancel monthly shipments and avoid further Monthly Charges at any time by contacting customer service at Monday through Saturday, 24 hours.

I always said that I rather have Visa and MC regulate this than the Gubment. But hey, the way this is going the Gubment will really need to step in.

Now that upsells are all gone ... Hey! Why not just keep on with the destruction of the continuity model by billing people €170 on a $1 bottle of coloured sugar?

I won't name networks here, because every single network is involved in this and after what went down in Jan and Dec they really need the money.

This is out of control.

Agreed. I think these faggy rebill advertisers should be taken out back and shot.

I have to agree this is absolutely RIDICULOUS. All said and done you're talking about an acai/colon combo that works out to $500 USD. That's like 2 months of the average persons car payment or a month of a mortgage/rent payment for a lot of people.

This is the reason there are laws and jail, and if this shit keeps up, it's gonna be trouble. This kind of shit is just absolutely industry killing and will bring upon more and more regulation.

its funny that consumers wont read the terms and all you think someone else needs to help people read the terms, this kinda shit wouldn't survive if consumers would just get taught that they need to fucking read things before they buy. Anyone here buy a car lately? You think you actually read all the fucking paperwork before buying?

soon they will have picture contracts with the way the trend is going.

lol bro, they dont read the contracts but I can't see anyone going to the AG for a $100 bill.. but I can see people going nuts about $500 bills for 2 $1 bottles of sugar while they are still fat. Some advertisers are just being too greedy and fucking the whole model up for everyone else.

Yeah its kinda ridiculous, as an advertiser myself I don't see how this wont lead to MORE charge backs. I cant understand why the banks would allow this kind of billing method since from what ive been told it actually increases the charge back tail the bank is exposed too.

This advertiser is the biggest in the international rebill space so no network is going to drop them.

i know who you're reffering to and I know that you actually are saying the truth. Still, i feel like somebody needs to point this shit out. Force factor is proving that you can actually couple a free trial model with a rebill and still be legit. Why then charge people for so much money and then have networks claim its "compliant". But hey, I guess I'm just a bad capitalist.

its proving very difficult to get a negative option/free trial on any sort of supplement approved _right now_ at domestic banks.. unfortunately i think that sort of blanket restriction (at least in the short term, i'm confident it will work itself out to a middle ground) is only going to lead to even more shady offers. if they're willing to bury the $170 in terms, why not just tell them they'll only be charged $10 and then charge $170? not much different in terms of chargeback exposure and the ftc was going to eventually rape you either way.

these are the kind of offers that close the gap between a bmw or bentley this summer :) dollars falling from the sky :) !!

You're part of the problem.

This advertiser stopped running rebills in the US so the FTC is not going to do shit to them.
