This is always true.
More clicks aren't necessarily the best thing for you when you are paying PPC.

I haven't used adwords yet because I was under the impression that direct linking wasn't allowed and will result in a banned account.

If you create a user (dating profile) account on PoF and look around I bet you'll find that theres a bunch of average looking chicks who DONT want a bigger ass. Even with great ad copy you won't get conversions unless you have a demo that really wants the product.
I really think this type of ad would do better on myspace where there are stupid people and enough white girls who wish they had big black booties. But take this with a grain of salt as I have never tested a product of this type. Most of the time it's products that make a girl's ass slimmer, not fatter.

Hmm interesting observation. I never thought to set up a POF account and browse around. I mean I never had any evidence that there is a hungry crowd for this product, but I was basing it off of a an expeience that I had with a jealous girl that I used to date.
I may try myspace with this offer although I'm reluctant due to the zero success I had with a makeup email submit offer that I thought for sure would take off. I wonder if Myspace people have money.
But on another note I forgot to mention. Two days ago I did manage to get 2 sales after following the advice in this thread and used the following ad:
"Make your butt look bigger
Wear these underwear with jeans, skirts, shorts, dresses. Then watch how the guys stare at you! Get your pair today!"
At that point I had around 20 something clicks. But now I around 84 clicks and nothing. I don't know why but I do believe in this product I'm just gonna keep tweaking it. I'll keep you all posted.

1. Buy the product yourself.
2. Get you're GF or some friend that's a girls
3. Make a REAL demo of the product, showing that it actually works.
4. Post it to youtube and imbed it into a blog (note, it's not a "flog" here if the video/results/person are REAL"
5. Write some good copy on the page and link people over to buy it.
This is all assuming it's a good product and it really works.

Generally black women tend to have that kind of butt(sterotype!!!!!!). I'd find a skinny white girl with a big ass and try that in an ad or two.

I was thinking it over, and feel the OP may be better off promoting this using Google or the other search engines using long tails (no pun intended). It's really tough finding the right people on FB using their system, which stresses demographics.
What FB keywords could he use to find the right people for his product? Is there a "scrawny ass" group? srsly, am I totally wrong?

-AIDS patients
-people in wheelchairs (assuming that the pads are comfortable to sit on)
-long haul truck drivers
-people who get slapped on the ass at work
-girls who are too short to see when driving their car: this gives an added lift
-baby boomer ladies. They're hitting 50/60+, and their losing their curves
-college girls looking for gag gifts
-as a subtle relief for hemorrhoids (well spaced padding)
