5 yr old with leukemia is selling his drawings of monsters to help pay for his chemo

2099 sales at $12 a sale = $25188 minus whatever it costs to produce them. Not bad for a little over a month...

They had 2099 total sales when I checked yesterday, today they have 2236... 137 sales at $12 = $1644 in 1 day

This is insane!

these drawings are shit
original wickedfire style, eh?

if that was not for: 1. trolling purpose, out of which you would get a real great kick
2. to show us your own beautifully sick drawings you drew as a kid and open up an online store so that all the other members and guests that were graced by reading your shitty post could buy those
3. to show your amazing drawings you did at your 30+ age and get congratulated by all and sundry

... that is just a way of asking for donations in a rather polite way, which would give great satisfaction for everybody; and which, indirectly, helps get more donations for the treatment of the kid, by having a physical thing in your house to let more people know the needy position of the boy.

cool story but all you guys crying about how everyone should have free health care or whatever need to wise up and learn a little about economics and social systems. without profit as motivation, the technology that could keep kids like this alive at all might have never been developed. thats the reality we live in, so lets stop repeating Obama talking points.

What in the holy hell are you talking about? What difference does it make if it's the government paying the bills instead of the insurance companies? the hospitals, doctors, scientists, nurses, pharmaceutical companies, surgeons and so on still get paid. They're not working for free.

We have Medicare here in Australia... off the top of my head it hasn't stopped Aussies from developing the worlds first cervical cancer vaccine, spray on skin, aspirin, the bionic ear and the ultrasound machine. I'm extremely happy with the system here. My grandfather needed a pacemaker a few months ago, cost him exactly $0. I felt like I was deficient in something so I went to the doctor, cost me nothing, he sent me for a blood test which also cost me nothing. I needed vitamin D pills which I paid for. Would I have gone for a checkup if it wasn't free? I doubt it. Thanks Australia, I truly do love thee.

The reality you live in is that half of your tax dollars goes on military spending but god forbid any of that is spent on a 5 year old child whose parents can't afford cancer treatment, nope that would make Obama a fascist socialist communist with a deep hatred of white people who is trying to take away your freedom and honor!

Oh wow, an affiliate marketer claiming most people would bust their ass for the "good of society," that's rich.

Tell me, why don't you spend all your time marketing unprofitable products that help people? Why don't you spend all your money on unprofitable PPC campaigns to promote information and awareness that might help people?

By the way, most of our tax dollars are spent on the entitlement programs you claim we should have more of, not on war. And the virtues of Australia? A place that censors the internet, bans video games, and engineers public thought? Don't make me laugh.

:moon:

Looks like Hellblazer has a troll account.

Sounds like you still can't grasp the concept of subsidised health care. I'll say it again, nobody is working for free or purely for the "good of society", it is simply the government paying the medical bills with tax money instead of the insurance companies (who would rather keep the money because they're profit motivated, hence denying coverage to people who need it).

Let's not forget Australia has one of the smallest budget deficits and is on track for surplus in the next couple of years, we also avoided recession and our economic growth is close to normal, we can afford it :moon:

You know, imagine if this was actually the work of a really fucking incredibly smart and soulless internet marketer.

Damn I wish I had..

Most blackhat method i ever seen, anyone shady enough to replicate this with me in a jv and bank?

P.S im only joking, i actually feel for the kid. ;)

This.

Would it be legal to sell art this way ?

Just like how people setup fake FLOGs to promote bizz opp's

Setup a fake story about a kid w chemo selling art and the in at the bottom of the lander in grey just have print saying that its all fake and just a landing page and is no way real, etc.

easy way to make some $ I guess if you were bored.

Nice try but you were claiming a socialized, and thus unprofitable, health care system would have no less innovation than a privatized, profitable, health care system and I destroyed your fantasy.

The fact that you are going to the doctor for free every time you have the hiccups actually has the side effect of ruining more people's lives because no one is going to bust their ass to create technological advancements since the money is being wasted to diagnose parasites, not to reward intelligent innovators with wealth, freedom, and luxury (a driving force for all humans). People who are healthy want to spend their time with family and enjoy their lives just as much as unhealthy people. They don't want to be stuck in a cave creating cures for others if it won't help them increase their own quality of life, just like you won't spend all day every day marketing products to help people if you won't profit from it.

Good day, sir. I said GOOD DAY! :action-smiley-052:

Your that desperate for money? That's lower than the low and would make you scum.

Have a look through your emails I'm sure you've probably won $800,000,000 from a Nigerian lottery somewhere.

Why do you think a socialised health care system is unprofitable?

Sorry to ruin your argument but we actually have a private health care system here in Australia right next to the "socialised" public one. Doctors are free to choose whether they want to be subsidised under Medicare or whether they want to go private. 78.1% choose Medicare. So either you're right and most doctors in Australia love "busting their ass for the good of society", or they do in fact get paid just as much as their private, health insurance supported counterparts.

Game set match old chap.
