This part and core of their new direction seems extremely nutty:
1) What specific offers, or offer types, will you need us to provide for you. We will not have “Public” offers anymore. Every campaign will be set up personally for each affiliate and monitored one on one by our staff to ensure the advertiser is delivering conversions as they should be, and that the affiliate’s quality is in line with the terms of the offer. Emphasis is quality from BOTH sides.
-- So let me get this right, unlike pretty much every other affiliate network, they apparently don't want to tell you what type of offers you can promote. Instead, you have to ASK them for an offer to run and someone has to manually go in and provide that offer. Umm what? Most affiliates test and retest different offers, seeing how they convert, hence why it is good to have a wide range of offers to run on a network. So pretty much that is out the window.... So instead, you have to basically run your offers on another network FIRST then see about contacting a AM at cpatank, and inquire about **if** an offer is available, then have them manually add it to your account and see if the payments are greater than what you are currently running.
Hopefully this new strategy works out, I've run traffic on cpatank before and never had any issues and they were quite responsive, but this whole new direction and plan seems a little crazy. The only logical rational, would be before they were brokering most offers through EWA and clearly with the $300k debt and likely more unpaid invoices there has been a fallout and cpatank is trying to go direct now. Thus why they want to know ahead of time specific offers and then go approach the advertiser and see about getting the offer in their network.
