yea, it's an obvious traffic source which can be found on any "top 50 advertising network" list. it's not outing the traffic source that matters, it's the principle. i assume you also tell your top-performing affiliates what smaller affiliates on your network are doing as well. big mouth = bad for business.

I never see anyone complaining about 'outing traffic sources' when someone says they're doing really well promoting something on Mediatraffic, WTF is the difference?
Thats what happened with facebook. Everybody was like OMGZ I'M MAKING MONIEZ ON FACEBOOK WITH 3 CENT CLICKZ. Now everybody and their mother/father/brothers & sisters are jumping onto facebook increasing the click prices to around 0.5$ range. Its not about outing, its about keeping your fucking ass shut & milking the traffic source while it lasts.
Yeah, nobody would have ever heard about advertising on facebook with a comment on a forum.
an idea for advertising on admob. I know people were using them awhile back to build opt in email lists for really cheap. What if you grabbed the emails and prepopped them to a related email sub. Would have to talk to an affiliate network about compliance I think

The point is, this is an affiliate marketing forum and affiliates should be able to talk about traffic sources, that is one very important aspect of affiliate marketing.
I agree with you dude. But I personally don't like talking about ANY traffic source other than Adwords/YSM/Bing and somewhat Facebook. If I'm making a killing with any other traffic source I'd better keep it to myself instead of participating in related discussions which inspire more fucking noobs to compete with me.

Anyone else notice on Admob that the clicks and impressions don't show up until you pause your campaign?
I went through my whole budget showing no clicks.
I checked my tracker and the clicks were there.
I checked my cpa offer and the clicks were there.
I paused the campaign, and bingo - impressions and clicks.
Make sure you start your campaign paused while you wait forever to get approved.
Then give it a few start/pause until you see traffic.
