Affiliate Manager Do's and Don'ts

Hey everyone,

I am a new AM for AdLeverage.com, we are not quite a network, but an advertiser/merchant at the moment, that is, unless you like working with me and want me to find you something. In which case I'd rather build it than broker it. NEWAY
AIM me for info...

Enough with my selfish plug...

The real reason for this thread is to find out from affiliates, and networks, on how they like to interact with AM's in these two ways.

1. Introduction
~How do you like to be contacted for the first time.
~What do you like to know when you an AM contacts you the first time.

2.Updates/Alerts
~What things would you like to be notified on once you are an affiliate?

For instance - I need people to run our offers, but we don't have any exposure and I will be trying to recruit a few of you. Rather than pm'ing everyone, which I'm sure you'd all love. I figured I would leave it open to you so everyone can be happy... :)

1. Not allow Advertiser's to pause or stop a campaign on a Friday at 6pm or midnight. This has happened so many times to me and it hurts like hell when you've scheduled a weekend full of inventory for an offer and it's gone, or worse, it's redirecting to an ink jet offer.

2. Allowing weekly wires is a must after the affiliate shows performance and has established reputation, min. 30 days is fair.

3. Exclusive offers - get something that hasn't been whored by everyone else. I actuallty got an email the other day from a network proud to say it had a new Google offer, it's the same shitty one we've all seen, same LP, get a clue people!

4. An AM that uses IM and communicates with me. I perform much better when my AM is a click away and can notify me the moment a new hot offer is out of the gate.

5. The ability to deploy links without having to hit the DEPLOY button. I want to be able to make 100 deployed links with simple cut/paste of an ID code vs. having my webmasters sit there for 30 mins and generate them.

All this aside, I'll waive 1-5 for just some HOT GODDAMN OFFERS. It's the solid offers that keep me there, the rest is icing on the cake.

Dude you are a fucking idiot. Do you know where you are? You will get absolutely zero traffic to your shithole network coming onto wickedfire with that bullshit.

Look, I will argue my point and be done with it.

I came on here looking for some legitimate answers. I noticed that no one was responding yet still IM'ing. I'm confident that the quality of our products still holds. Other companies and users promote their products on this forum all the time. However, shameless my plug was, I still offered a valid question.

The fact is, you all deal with AM's constantly, it seemed right to offer a solution to finding common ground when dealing with new business relationships.

If there are those that would still like to contribute to this thread the way it was meant, please do so...

anyone with half a brain would know that if you come here and post a shameless plug to try to make money and then mask it with an asinine question - you're gonna get torched.
 
However horrible I feel egging you on, and continuing this thread off track, I must say that infact I did figure that providing the plug in a decent way would immediately debunk any thoughts that the only reason for this thread was such as to enter a shameless plug and contact everyone that came. Thus getting it out of the way seemed easier any more comfortable to everyone.

However much I enjoy arguing with you I would still like to continue this thread in a proper way. If you don't like the plug, then I encourage you to begin yourself a new thread with the same question.

Your question and original post has nothing to do with your stupid network so you have no reason to plug it unless that was your reason all along and of course it was.

And your excuse was "to get it done and over with" hoping nobody would notice what you were trying to do. Nobody is falling for your stupid excuse for plugging your lame ass network. You should of at least made an attempt at making the site better. It looks like shit so it must of been designed by you.

edit: LOL i just noticed his network is on google sites. Wow... just get the fuck out and never come back again.
