Where do you envision that credit would specifically become an issue?

Read that one again and then go look in Sell/Buy/Trade section, particularly Design and Development. If your skills are what you say they are, you'd be better off monetizing yourself than trying to monetize some shitty blog.
 
There's a book called Landing Page Optimization that's really good.

People will try to dick roll you so don't click any links people put up.

Start off on facebook, its relatively easy to make money.

Try EWA as an AFF network. They're really helpful and they seem to be willing to help out new affiliates.
