well... of all the conferences I have ever spoken at or been to I have never seen one where the moderator never showed....
There was 1 microphone for 3 people
No microphone for the audience
The moderator to introduce walk around with the mic for the audience was awol.
Pretty ghetto.
Yeah--I'm definitely not blaming you guys at all, and the only reason this even might sound like a complaint is just because your session was my 'most anticipated' one at the conference. In my (biased) mind you and Jon are (along with Kris) some of the best people to listen to.
I also thought it was pretty lame how that lady (not sure who it was--sorry) was frantically singalling you to end the session.
Hey, what's with the rumor that the 'official' video is not going to be put online because one of the panelists in this session was extremely unprofessional in his comments (and it wasn't Shoemoney) ?? :bigear:
Andrew weeei said he has to get home to digitize it and work on some of the audio but he will then post it. as I was leaving within 5 minutes of the start jon asked why so many people were leaving, I wanted to stab my eye out it was so bad! not sure it was the panels fault but anyway...
Thanks! I will definitely read it... but would like to see a video footage as well!
I hope Andrew Wee has his footage ready soon as he mentioned earlier!!![]()
yeah, i agree with what most people have been saying here. the session was kind of a let down, not because the speakers didn't do a good job, but because the topics that came up weren't really that interesting, the mic wasn't working for the first half or so, and the session was too short for a q & a. just my opinion.
if they have that panel again in the future i think it would be a lot better if it were an hour and a half or even two hours, and if the speakers each gave a brief (5 minute or so) run down of their background.. i guess they did a little bit, but i think a good portion of the audience didn't really know what to expect from the speakers and that resulted in the wrong questions being asked (not all of them, but quite a few).
anyway just my opinion.
btw i think i saw a lot of the wickedfire crew at kris jones' (pepperjam) session. i thought that one was really, really good.
Best part of asw was when Andrew Wee told us how many posts we had on wickedfire, he had that shit memorized!
or the part when we were told that the best way to pick an offer is to look for stuff that does not have a lot of adwords competition - best advice ever!
WF bitches!
