Another 4 Years of Obama?

Romney might hasten the inevitable financial and economic collapse. Not sure that's a good thing. He will also bring about the return of the neo-con bumble fucks who are not just the biggest war mongers in U.S. history, but also some of the most incompetent and delusional dipshits to walk the earth. I'd say the odds of us doing something as completely insane and retarded (not to mention immoral) as going to war with Iran are higher under the Mittens.

Otherwise, Obama hides his ASPD much better, but both are essentially Wall Street, corporate bitches. Supreme court appointees will arguably be fairly different, with Romney likely to bring us more of these fake conservative lackey crypto-fascists.

Romney as savvy businessman is a joke, IMO. He got rich by partnering with investment banks to leverage buy out productive companies (using money from the Fed's magic hard drive), saddling them with massive debt they could never pay back, sucking off assets and consulting fees, then leaving them to die. That makes him very apropos of our times, but that's about it.

Let's just jump ahead to the break down and resulting shit storm. The suspense is killing me.

One of the most fucked up things about American politics IMO is that when the presidential vote happens is always near 50% vs 50%. I mean how can the American people really be that perfectly split down the center for decades? In other countries politicians actually win by having more than 60% of the vote.. you know.. something you'd expect now and then in a real vote. How can it always be this extremely close to 50% vs 50%.

If I was more of a conspiracy theorist I'd say it's like that to keep the losing team from getting completely demoralized. It keeps more people in a constant state of hope that America could change for the better on the next election. I mean if you were a Conservative for instance and the conservative only got 20% of the vote each time you'd become disillusioned with the system and possibly seek other more violent ways to implement your politics.

Things are working as they are meant to work. The ignorance of the subjects is essential to perpetuating the faux legitimacy of the rulers. Why?

From John Taylor Gatto:

Or to hear Woodrow Wilson explain it:

I don't know why this post does't have 900+ likes.

Do you fucktards not "get it"?

Educate YOUR children. YOU. EDUCATE YOUR CHILDREN.

YOU.

What part of that don't you understand?

voting doesnt exist... y'all really think the masses want obama? Fucking seriously? even before he was initially elected... This is all just an illusion.

LOL it's already over:

It really doesn't matter does it.

Both are bought and paid by the Israeli lobby AIPAC
Both are protecting Goldman Sachs and their army of scammers
Both see no problem with Bernanke inflating you to poverty
Both want to go to war with sand people
One is bought by the unions the other is bought by the corporations

What's the difference really?

Oh yeah, Obama is for free condoms to college sluts and Romney is against some forms of abortion.

The two party system has to be the biggest sham ever. How can you ever expect 300 million people to choose 'red or blue'.

God damn people are stupid sometimes.

Why do people always call the system of Government in the US a democracy? It is a representative republic, always has been. It was never designed nor intended to be a democracy.

That's completely incorrect.. The US does employ democracy as their system of government. This is different than the FORM of government, which is a republic. In other words, you are both a republic and a democracy, they describe two different things.

Well, do not say you was not warned:

I guess it's up to me then, i'll be happy to come right out and say that.

It has made me narrow my prediction, in fact.

I used to say that Obama would win by a good 15 state lead... But factoring in this important point leads me to believe he'll only win by 5 states or so.... Enough points where it's not another 2000, but not a single state more.

Democracy is very insidious because as you said, it maintains the perception of hope. It seduces people away from making any fundamental changes.

Democracy keeps us voting like sheep lining up to be sheared, and when it doesn't go our way, we patiently wait for the next opportunity to do the same.

4 years of obama + good chance for 8 years of rand paul

or

4 years of rombama + another 8 years of obamarx

Ya more on what I was saying above.. my tinfoil hat is telling me that this is also why the Dems and Repubs seem to not agree on any issue at all. It seems on nearly every important stance you can take the opposite team has the polar opposite view. This is abnormal in reality. Who in reality disagrees with every important stance of someone else? Maybe it's like this as a way to cover all bases as far as people's hopes are concerned.

For instance, lets say you're pro-choice but a Repub got elected who said he's going to stop all abortion choices. But since the pres vote was so close (50/50) you're not completely losing hope about the future. You never become disillusioned.

You can repeat the above example with nearly all possible stances because all stances are covered in the repub/dem spectrum.
