I've recently been refocusing on CPA marketing and things have been going fairly well for the past few months. I'm not doing enough with any network to get weeklies and I'm fine with that. I actively push offers from 6 networks and I plan to expand with other networks to which I've been accepted but with which I've not done much business.
With the kids out of school it's basically fiasco-central at my home anyway for the duration of the summer, so my time is limited due to needing to focus on kid-related activities.
Anyway, last week when checks were sent out from the net-15 networks I noticed one offer had shaved my leads by 60%. Crikey. It wasn't a zip or email submit either; it's a 2-pager with no cc required.
I wasn't paying much attention to the revenues, assuming everything was on track, until my AM for that network emailed me asking what had happened to all of my traffic since I had been doing well (for me) on that offer. I answered him that I had an issue with my Adwords pricing going off and that I was too busy with family matters and had paused the campaign ... AND that the offer had shaved >60% of my leads for the previous month.
I was too shocked about it and too busy to properly compose an inquiry until today. And I know my AM will respond to my request when he gets it on Monday, so I'm not worried about that.
I really like this network. I always receive their checks first and always get quick response from my AM even though I'm hardly a flashy super affiliate profit center for them. I've asked my AM to find out from the advertiser what the issue might have been.
What would you all, as affiliates, think about a >60% lead reversal? I've experienced some issues with conversions that weren't tracked properly and some minor shaving in the past, but nothing as severe as this.
Thanks in advance, and sincere apologies for the whining.
