Another n00b in need of advice...

Thanks bro, but 300 - 400 a month is about £250 in the UK. Mcdonalds would be a better option lol. That's a quarter of the minimum wage. Not sure if serious...

$300-$400 is a hell of a lot more than the $0 you said you've been making online dicking around for the last 2 years. You need to take a risk and do something instead of just continuing to read articles and forum posts about doing things and pretending like you're accomplishing something.

"I'm currently making $0 and have a 'very limited budget' but I don't wanna mess around with this small time shit, I want THE BIG BUCKS"

Ok then fuckhead, good luck with that.

And to be clear, I still had a job back then.

No need to take offence. Common sense tells me that your idea is not a very good one. Let me ask you something - do you know how expensive London is? The amount you mentioned will barely buy you anything, even 2 nights out would be stretching it. Maybe I need to look for a new place to live...

When was I pretending like I'm accomplishing something? I just admitted that I haven't been successful at what I've tried in the OP.

Weeds makes a good point. I too would start with what i CAN do, not with what i think could be most profitable. I don't judge though, and a plan is better than no plan. If you want to go ahead with PPC, then you need to find a way to aquire enough cash to do decent testing.

For PPC you don't only need cash, but a lot of optimism and willingness to land flat on your face for a long time. Every environment which is highly scalable favours those with massive resources be it money or experience in optimizing the system.

Ask yourself the question: What can I do? ME...ONE person?

I mean, you could start as a content writer working night shifts for months and then invest everything back into your first campaigns. You could be profitable after a first month even if that just means having aquired a skillset...

Please, don't sell shitty SEO services if you don't know what you are doing. Learn the skills first.

That been said, i personally would suggest offering a service of some kind first, or becoming a freelancer if your work discipline is your biggest asset atm. Then, branch out from there, learn more skills....leverage other workers, devlop a vision for your business.

Or don't. Are you even an entrepeneur, or do you "just" want to make money? If you simply need cash: Content writing, social media management, programing, Marketing Services etc. Perhaps then invest in some sites on the side or build up that bankroll to start ppc.

Small steps first, big steps as soon as possible.

Thank you kryaa - very helpful response. Much appreciated. Taken your advice on board and will be taking action bearing in mind what you've said. +1

And I never said I was making zero dollars either, just not in IM. Surely you understand the difference?

I'm going to keep this simple since you appear to be deaf or stupid.

1. Visit the Enlightened Members Section.

2. Read posts in said section.

3. Choose 1 strategy that you have the tools, knowledge and MONEY to implement today, right now.

4. Implement said strategy to the best of your ability.

5. Come back here and ask intelligent questions when you hit a road block.

Until then you're not going to get a "serious" answer to a "dumbass" question. Shit, mikeshinobi has tried harder than I ever would've.

I will do. On a side note - this "mikeshinobi" guy suggested making less than a quarter of minimum wage. Even if you sign up for benefits in the UK - you will make more than what he mentioned. Terrible idea - he's going on my ignore list.

Maybe I need to look for a new place to live...

Now you are starting to get it. You need to leverage all your resources. Do what you can. What seperates you from others is the risk you are willing to take and the efforts you are willing to make. You might think that 250 pounds extra is nothing, but what matters is ROI. If you can make this kind of money only working for a couple of hours, it is worth it. Don't believe for one second that mikeshinobis plan is his endgame. I would guess he is balling out of control right now.

But how do people achieve this kind of success? By seeing the first small steps as stepping stones. Never rest, always prepare your next move. How to stabilize your earnings? How to increase cashflow? What new opportunities are there? When is it time to hustle, when to analyze things?

this "mikeshinobi" guy suggested making less than a quarter of minimum wage

The thing is, noone really cares about you and your success. "That Guy" is not your union rep to complain about "unfair wages". He's given you valuable advice on how to get started ON YOUR OWN.

Good luck...but luck is not really what you need. What you need is a hunger for independence. A thirst for success.

Well, first skill you need to learn from this thread is analyzing. It will be harsh but bear this because it will improve you in the long run. Normally you should be trolled like 2 pages before getting a serious answer to your question.

Where should I start? Is it even a question? You clearly don't know what you are talking about it is like you are saying you are hungry and when the waiter comes you ask for a hammer. Yes this shit is that ridiculous.

You don't know where to start but you know you want do PPC. Then learn what PPC projects look like and put some work into it before you ask these questions. Research, you said you have done then you should know what you will do otherwise you haven't researched enough.

Also other members were trying to make a point, which comes to our second skill; ability to learn. Try to understand what they implied (why are they giving you shit if that is the case) and if you don't expect critisim then you should learn to be professional which is our third skill. Of course you can ignore some people if they are constantly giving you shit that is life some people are just pure pricks but seriously most of the WF members are good guys/gays whats up :D.

Here are some research material for you though are you ready here comes..

Just fucking search it :P

I am kidding go to enlightened members section and read CCarters at least 4 posts on each topic: traffic, conversion, campaign management, split testing.

Then return the the thread you created and look with fresh eyes.

Hey smart guy don't you think you have to start somewhere? I mean if you want to start earning minimum wage right off the bat go work for Mc Donalds. A lot of us here earned negative dollars per hour for a long time before we ever made a dime, its called building a business. If you want to be a wage slave then go get a job.

Stop thinking like a peasant.

I believe that was more to illustrate a turning point in his IM career where he began to have some success... I doubt it was the end of his story and I highly doubt that is what he's currently pulling in.

Are you a moron or you fail to realize that it's an extra $300 a month, not including his day job.

If you don't have a day job, and don't have any money, and $300 sounds too little for you, then go fuck yourself you broke ass n00b in need of advice and go sign for benefits, which sound to suit you well

Ok, I apologize for my response. That was out of line. I didn't mean it to come across in that way. Poor choice of words on my part.

I already apologized to him. No, I'm not a total moron. Telling me to "go fuck myself" and calling me a "n00b" when you joined two months ago and I wasn't even talking to you. You like 15 or something? I was being realistic about what that amounts to in London. It wasn't a meant to be taken as a personal insult. Calm the fuck down.

Whatever you say bro. Whatever you say....

Maybe you should be thinking about your own projects, instead of going around name calling like a little child. Just a thought....

I've decided to start from scratch again and hoping to find some clarity from this forum.

You will never get clarity from forums, never! Find a site you like that is ranking well and making money, try your best to dissect what they have done and copy it, only a little better. That is all there is to it.

It takes a ton of work and research to find out what works, asking for help on forums is for lazy people who do not want to work. Did someone tell you that online marketing is not work?

Success is as easy as 1,2,3...

1- Get a job to pay your bills
2- Learn online marketing on the side.
3- When online marketing pays 10x more then your job, market full time.
